Oregon Trail Park is the home of the "Western Nebraska Pioneer" baseball team. College students from all across the country come together for a summer of baseball. They play under the MLB rules for baseball and they are using wood bats for the experience. The team plays 64 games associated with the 8 teams in the "Expedition League" The 8 teams represent 4 states, North and South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska. Pool was closed still, but the park next to it was fun. We happened to get there on a warmish day. They have several play areas, tire swings, bridge, seesaw’s, walking box, and plenty of parking. No restrooms were open since the pool was closed was the only down side. See more..
