As a child that was in Kearney I spent a lot of Saturdays at the World Theater but I had not been there in years. I was thrilled to see it fixed up so lovely. Brought so many childhood memories back from a long long time ago. I will definitely be attending more movies there. The price is excellent and I love that it staffed with volunteers. One last note, they were sold out at the box office. The tables and chairs were are an awesome touch!See more..

It is our third show at the theatre that we have attended and the facility itself is marvelous. It is barn shaped, spacious and the seating is relatively comfortable. Love it when you go through the concession area and leave a tip that they ring a bell. Gives you the feel of small-town Americana and get you away from the big city.
