    The great views that you get after climbing 175 steps to the top is the reward. The walk from the cruise terminal was a leisurely 15 min, 2 Euro entry fee is reasonable. There were lots of people on the beach watching a beach football match. It was good to spend the day in Rostock & Warnemunde on a hot day instead of taking the long non a/c train trip to Berlin.     We did not go up the lighthouse, but stopped here to enjoy the fantastic views out over the fields and down to the Baltic Sea coast. You don't have to climb the lighthouse to get beautiful expansive views. Gorgeous! There is also an excellent café here with a fantastic assortment of tasty cakes. I wouldn't say that this is a "must-see" destination, but it's the perfect spot for an afternoon break in a day of touring. See more..

    Auf jeden Fall sollte man einen Ausflug per Rad zum Natureum und somit Darßer Leuchtturm unternehmen. Die Fahrt dorthin durch den Nationalpark (nur zu Fuß, Rad oder mit der Kutsche) ist herrlich und man kann zugleich nach der Besteigung des Turms und der fantastischen Aussicht auch den Weststrand besuchen und genießen. Das kleine Cafe, welches man nur besuchen kann, wenn man ins Natureum und den Turm geht, ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. See more..

    If you take the ferry from Ruegen (Schaprode), I would recommend you disembark at Kloster, a lovely village. From there you hike up about 2 km on a gentle incline to the lighthouse, which is still in use. You don't have to climb up to the top of the lighthouse because you have a tremendous view from the cliff. The hike itself takes you through a national park and gives you lots of very nice photo opportunities. When you arrive back in Kloster, take the time for a stroll through the village, visit the old church, browse through the souvenir shops, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, or take ca break in one of the cafes.     ヒデンゼーは北の灯台が有名ですが、南にも小さな灯台があります。島の中心部から自転車で1５分～20分ほどでたどり着けます。灯台を真ん中に、左右両方に海が見える場のが見所の一つです。この周りはわりと人が少なく、灯台がある所からキレイなビーチを眺めたり、ピクニックをしたりととてもゆったりと過ごせました。 See more..
