    Since 2006, the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz has provided mistreated and neglected bears with a safe and natural home. At the time of writing, 14 brown bears live in the open air enclosure, which covers an area of some 16 hectares. Visitors to the sanctuary can take a walk through the park, experience the bears in their natural environment and learn more about these most fascinating of wild animals at the many and varied interactive information points. What the bears find here is a habitat which repects and caters for their natural requirements. A varied landscape with mixed woodland, grasslands, forest glades, hillsides and a natural water course.     This is a park of miniatures-you will see Titanic, Notre-Dame de Paris, and many other world tourist attractions in a miniature. There is also a miniature Rugen island with places of interest. A small electro-train Emma takes you round the theme park (the rides are every 15 minutes). There is also a small cafe on the premises and some rides for kids. If you plan a trip there, it will take about two hours to explore the park, I would recommend walking to the city centre-you will find a small museum of local history and culture(about 5 minute walk from the village church) See more..
