Hirschkogel, or Zauberberg is one of the most beutiful places in Semmering, Austria. I is equipped well for all the seasons: skies and tobbogans are available for all the day in winter, bikes of different kinds are for your pleasure in summer. There is very spectacular view openning from the top of Hirshkogel onto Schneeberg - the highest mountain of the district. Wonders of walking will find many of crosscountry rotes along mountains. The every turn on the road open the new attractive views. There are a lot of possibilities to take drinks and food at the Hirschkogel and in the villiage. I advice reccommend to enjoy the Zauberberg - one of the best places equipped for everything one wants. See more..

-What a fantastic experience
Spent More than 3 hours Ski & Snowboard Areas
We spent a few single ski-days on the Hochkar this week and we were really totally positively surprised. OK - the snow situation this year is exeptionally good (3,5m) after the heavy snow in January, and this will last until April - for shure. But also all the other infrastructure is realy realy fantastic. Good organisation of the car parking, perfect organised check-in possibilities that also manages a huge crowd of people and a very good technical infrastructure. The Restaurants and bars are clean, good and well organised too, the slopes have all you ca dream of as a regular skier. 19 km slopes from blue Family, red experienced and black very good skier. We ca just recomend the Hochkar Ski territory for your next visit as the rate value is realy outstanding for my comparisons. See more..

Great experience for those with kids of all ages ( and older ones). playground, climbing in the forest, gravitational helter skelter ( uses the ski lift to take carts to the top of a hill and you scream down it on tracks) Also has a small "petting zoo" Must be incredible for learning to ski in the winter.
