When it's hot outside, and you feel outdoorsy, this is the ideal place to go - in particular if you have adventurous kids. There's a little uphill hike, and the tours operate every 40 minutes or so, so you might be in for a wait - but the tour is worth it. There's a lot of climbing ladders and stairs, a lot of pushing yourself through tiny spaces and the climax of the tour are the bones of a bear that lived around 10000 years ago. The tour itself isn't too long or strenuous - and as I said, it's definitely an adventure. See more..

    - Good accessible cave near to Semmering area
Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves

Cave is good accesiible from parking place - about 5 minutes easy walk. At entrance you can purchase some drinks and bisquites. WC also available. Not be afraid if nobody is temporarily at entrance. It is often "one man business" - only man guides tourist into cave, and between entries he sells tickets, drinks etc. There are not too many entries a day, check time Schedule on the web. Cave is interesting because of very few human artificial interventions, it is mainly in original status excluding lights. Ask guide por possibility extend entry for labyrinth. Our guide was very nice. But cave is nothing exceptional, at least for somebody who comes from Slovakia, country with many beautiful caves. Either way, worth to visit if you are driving nearby. 8 degres Celsius very pleasant in summer 2015 when 38 degress was outside. See more..
