We took a trip today from Spitz to Krems. The ship looked like all these ships in use for trips on the Danube River. Departure was on time, just a few persons were on the ship. The trip was also what can be expected. When I had to visit the toilets, I was very surprised about the look and maintenance and state of the toilets. Never seen this anywhere in an "attraction". There are 2 companies competing here, next time I would select Brandner again. See more..

The only one in Austria, they manufacture 8mio items per yr for worldwide export. At the guided tour u will see all the different staff they produce and also ancient antiques they have handcrafted in the past. You will see a 15min Film also and the shop has gorgeous bracelets, earrings, knifes with artful grip intarsia and many more. There is a huge playground for the kids, restrooms and a drink vending machine w coffee and cold soda cans. Plus u find all flyers there about surrounding sightseeing attractions of other castles and many more in the wood quarter area. A top place to visit ! See more..
