What a fantastic experience
We spent a few single ski-days on the Hochkar this week and we were really totally positively surprised. OK - the snow situation this year is exeptionally good (3,5m) after the heavy snow in January, and this will last until April - for shure. But also all the other infrastructure is realy realy fantastic. Good organisation of the car parking, perfect organised check-in possibilities that also manages a huge crowd of people and a very good technical infrastructure. The Restaurants and bars are clean, good and well organised too, the slopes have all you ca dream of as a regular skier. 19 km slopes from blue Family, red experienced and black very good skier. We ca just recomend the Hochkar Ski territory for your next visit as the rate value is realy outstanding for my comparisons.

Small, but nice ski resort
The resort is small with about 19 km of ski slopes, but it is a great place for a weekend getaway. The food in the huttes could be greatly improved though.

Great views
We went up in summer. The weather was lovely and there was no wind. The distance from the road to the parking for the lift is quite far and really only accessible by car. Only one set of lifts was operational which would take you to the top for a fantastic view. It was a very popular place and there were a large number of visitors, so there were delays going up and down. the restaurants were also busy but they were clean and efficient. You must at least set aside half a day to do justice.
