   De grootste grafheuvel van Nederland; liefst 53 meter doorsnee en metershoog, gebouwd van heideplaggen. Hier lag een belangrijk man begraven.
   Een bezoekje waard? Alleen als je er toevallig langskomt zou ik even stoppen; niet omdat het zo mooi is, maar omdat het historisch een belangrijke plek is.
   Op een kale plek, vlak langs de snelweg ligt hier helemaal verloren een belangijk stuk geschiedenis.
   Mag best opgeknapt worden en uitgebreid met wat belangrijke historische feiten over de geschiedenis van dit gebied, waar belangrijke vonsten uit de ijzertijd zijn gedaan. See more..

   A day out with a difference. A business with two sides. On the one hand they grow Hydranger (dutch name is Hortensia) flowers to sell through the business markets. On the other hand they give tours to visiting parties, they give demonstrations, and organise parties for children. We went with a bus load of senior people. We were received with coffee and a cake. We were given a talk about the busineses, and the history. We were then taken through the greenhouses where the plants grow. Afterwards we had a small demonstration of making flower arangements. We were on an arranged visit. I think you need to book and arrange what you want to see and do. Everything is on one level, so access is reasonably easy, possibly a few tight turns.    Ik ben er gaan zwemmen met mijn zoontje van 2.
   Voor die leeftijd en de eerst volgende jaren is er niks bijzonders voorzien.
   Wat ik ook niet gevonden heb, zijn de cabines voor gezinnen. Dat maakt het omkleden met een peuter eenvoudiger. Misschien zijn ze er wel maar dit werd niet aangegeven.
   Het voelde allemaal een beetje gedateerd aan.

    Ik snap niet waarom je hier naartoe zou gaan. Schandalig dat ze profiteren op het succes van de Efteling. Heb gehoord dat het begon als hobby en dat is leuk maar zodra je er een business rond maakt en er geld voor vraagt kan het eigenlijk niet dat ze de naam van de Efteling gebruiken.     Currently The Netherlands is going through a huge spike in Corona, and even though the park has some signs up asking guests to keep 1.5m distance, once inside, it felt more like a beach festival with hundreds of people completely on top of each other, completely impossible to keep a distance.     Thursday: Spent 1-2 hours Military Museums
    The MOB-Complex was a mobilisation complex of the Dutch armed forces during the cold war. Many of these complexes were demolished but this one was saved and now serves as a cold war museum. There are about 10 warehouses located on the premises. In one warehouse there are two giant nuclear missiles visible. The other warehouses are closed for the public (which is a shame because these could be turned into a museum. You will need a QR-code app to read all the information that is placed on the buildings.
