   This is where you will find the GD Greenway, a China bicycle path network that covers all of southern China. There a -loads- of bike rental shops at the entrance. You can rent a very nice mountain or other style bike, including for the kids, for just a few $$$USD for a half a day. The ride around the reservoir takes 2-3 hours, has lots of stopping points and is good fun. The GD Greenway is relatively new and is gorgeous. The bike paths are asphalt and are new and well-marked and well-maintained, there are restrooms along the way and lots of things to see. The route can be a bit challenging as it's a bit hilly, but none of us had any problem with it. My only complaint is that we wanted to do a lot more riding but it only took a few hours to go around, and that included stopping, taking photos, etc. See more..

   We came here to hide away from the heat wave of the summer in Shunde between our gastronomical meals of lunch and dinner. The visit to the museum turned out to be an excellent surprise. The exhibits about Bruce Lee, the gastronomical history of Shunde and its appointment as one of the eight gastronomical cities by Unesco, the "comb sister", the silk industry and the other ways of life of Shunde in the past and the present.    we got there by a taxi.I got changed and we went out with my family. It was a very good place. We first went to the swimming pools and played in the water before i put my intrest into the inflatable course. Then my mother got us food and (didn't have) and suggested we go to the hot spring pools. We found lots; I couldn't go in many as they were too hot!     Dafudi Horn House located in Fuliang village, It is the only horn-shaped Hakka Dragon House in the world. Very good for those who love Photography, nature, and architectures. Really worth to visit during your trip to Meizhou. You will awesome for its Hakka "authentic" Architectures, scenary, paddy fields in the village. For convenience, you can rent a car or taxi from city, its around 15-20 minutes drive. For cheaper option you can take a bus and stop in Xiyang, but you need to walk around 30 minutes inside the village. Dont forget to visit Lianfang building, it is also famous for its western-hakka architectures. You can see it in the middle of your way from xiyang to Dafudi Horn House in Fuliang Village.     Yunnan is the most multi-ethnic province in China and home of at least 55 Ethnic Minorities in China. Yi, Bai, Zhuang, Dai and Naxi, Tibetan, Yao and other ethnic minorities are inhabited in Yunnan, which accounts for one thirds of population Yunnan. The featured geography, special climate and colorful ethnic custom endow Yunnan many oddities. Each of the minority ethnic groups has a distinctive and different character. During my travel to this area, I saw some of the people from different minority groups, and also had an opportunity to see their culture and traditions. These are fascinating as they are different from the people from the rest of China, and are very proud of their customs. I went to a theatrical show which is just over an hour. During this musically presentation, one can see the traditions groups. The presentation is absolutely wonderful and an experience. By no means one becomes an expert after watching this 1 hour show, but it is an eye opener.     推荐3-4月份来，因为那时候是荔枝季节，可以看到三月红，白蜡等，看过去一片片红色，像灯笼。可以不停的吃！！吃！！吃！！！！观荔亭顾名思义就是看荔枝的，其他月份来的话就只能干看树木了。

    Shangyue Village, Shangyue Old Village, Fogang County, Guangdong Province, was built in the Ming (1368 – 1644), and Qing (1644 – 1911) Dynasties. The ancient village is characterized by its arching, pot-eared houses and tall buildings of the Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. The arching, pot-eared architecture was a traditional southern-style of houses in Guangdong Province, and relatively unique in China. I’ve seen many ancient villages in China, with most having similar style buildings. However, the roofs of these houses are very unique and daringly artistic. That is, the style appears to be decorative rather than functional. The style is akin to the looks the Napoleon’s military hat and have a wok-handle style. This roof style can also be found in other ancient villages located in the Qingyuan district of Guangdong Province. Most of the buildings are vacant. With the rapid modernization of China, the younger generations and most of those able, have left for work opportunities in the larger cities. The building style is identical to those of described in the reviews of Licha Village, also of Guangdong Province. From Guangzhou, we took a didi taxi, which cost us 300 rmb for the round trip. That included the driver waiting for us at the village while we went sightseeing. The driving time going to the village was about 100 minutes, and due to traffic delays, two hours to return to Guangzhou.     潮洲市内からタクシーで約20分ほどで行ける、広東省でもっとも古い街並みが残っている古村。
    一部は南宋の時代の建物もあるが、明や清の時代の建物が多く今もここで生活している人がいる。入口は城壁があり車はほとんど入れないので、村民の足は二輪車がメイン。中に入って古い街並みを歩くと細い路地にそって延々と続く風景は、大昔にタイムスリップした感覚になる。
    一部は廃墟になっている家もあるが、この地出身の華僑が今も自分の生まれ故郷を守る為に家を改修し残しているので、昔のこの地の人々の生活様式を見る事が出来る。
    家々の入口の門はそれぞれ装飾が施され当時の面影を残しているので、各家の門を見るだけでも飽きない。
