Went out for a bikerun on Sunday, and decided to go up to Huguangyan Scenic Area, about 24 km from Wanda where I am staying. The area is very nice, and worth the trip. A nice walk around (7,5 km) the lake. The scenery is beautiful, but shows sign of lacking maintenance if you look abit outside the walk path. Many places to eat and many good clean toilets, so in general a good place. Would benefit all if more info signs translated to English. There is a few caves, but they are for unknown reason closed of ( maintenance?, or lack of?) The entrance fee is 50 RMB For a Sunday trip, it is nice, and if you go by bicycle it is recommended to follow the country road from town, then you are only exposed to the highway for a few km. Luofu Mountain is one of the famous Taoism pilgrimage sites. It's my first time there. I was impressed by how beautiful the site was and how nicely maintained it had been. The 1.8km cable lift was pretty long and good for sight seeing in a clear day. The vegetation on the mountain is so lush that the leaves seemed dripping "green". I imagine that, taking a weekend trip here from busy cities like Guangzhou or Shenzhen, must be very relaxing and meditating. See more..

I have no idea why this place here has only one picture and 4 reviews. I'm gonna fix it. We came to Yingde from Shenzhen for 2 days. It's a 4 hrs bus from Shenzhen to Qingyuan and a 1 hour bus from Qingyuan to Yingde. The scenery around this grotto reminds me of Yangshuo. We spent around 3 hours to walk around this attraction. We paid 75 rmb per ticket online, in the ticket office it's 85 rmb. You walk in and see the cave, it feels like you walk in the rock then you see a spectacular grotto with green water, a waterfall and hundreds of swallows flying above. you walk the stairs one way and return on a boat. There's a tea place where you can get a 7 rmb ice tea and try some of hot Yingde black tea for free. I highly recommend this place for visit See more..

Drove all the way to this place and was totally worth it! The combination ticket for the cave and mountains entrance was 40 yuan and 10 extra for a golfcart taxi to bring us to the mountains. The cave was lightened and you have English translation inside the cave. Beautiful and narrow small passages. At the exit, there is a temple to pray. Just be careful there, they will try to milk away your money there. See more..

These kinds of caves with stalagmites and stalactites are found scattered around Guangdong province and I've been to others that's bigger. On this particular visit, part of the passage way was not lit up at all. But with illumination from cellphone we all made it thru. Kind of dangerous. Oh well that's China, not highly regulated. 说真的，活动之前，我还不知道广东有这么一个花海，本以为只有去湖南以北的地方才有大片的桃花林，没想到广东就有。在靠近湖南边界的粤北，就有一个乐昌九峰镇，藏在大山深处，躺在安静的时光里，迎来了春的气息。

初到九峰，滂沱大雨，天一亮，确是清新无比，远山云雾升腾，山谷里盛开着桃红李白，恍惚间我以为来到了世外桃源，原来陶渊明笔下的美景，就在眼前啊！

第一天我们徒步了十多公里，一路赏花，欢声笑语，第二天阳光灿烂，更是坠入花海流连，此时此刻，我已无法掩藏内心的欢欣，就让心儿随着那片片飞花，飘向那美丽的远方……
