National forest park and national geological park with lots of hiking options, gardens (peach, bamboo etc.) and the Buddha as main attraction. Ask before you go on one of the buses which direction, they take different turns sometimes. Great for taking pictures and there's some amazing views as well. We spend roughly 3 hours there but you can easily take a day to visit this attraction! See more..

Went out for a bikerun on Sunday, and decided to go up to Huguangyan Scenic Area, about 24 km from Wanda where I am staying. The area is very nice, and worth the trip. A nice walk around (7,5 km) the lake. The scenery is beautiful, but shows sign of lacking maintenance if you look abit outside the walk path. Many places to eat and many good clean toilets, so in general a good place. Would benefit all if more info signs translated to English. There is a few caves, but they are for unknown reason closed of ( maintenance?, or lack of?) The entrance fee is 50 RMB For a Sunday trip, it is nice, and if you go by bicycle it is recommended to follow the country road from town, then you are only exposed to the highway for a few km. the plum blossoms are in bloom during the months of January and february. provides some excellent nature style photographs. this really is out of the way place. NEED a car or a tour group bus to get here,no way can get here with public transport. had a really enojable day here. can buy some great local bee honey too. got a tour group bus from Shenzhen took 2.5 hours See more..

A nice excursion in the town of Shaoguan. Get some excercise by walking up the small mountain to the top, where a cool pagoda type building awaits. Go at night, and the views over the city are impressive. The lighting of the pagoda is very cool, and makes for great pictures. The walk up is not bad at all, maybe 20 minutes or so. It can be refreshing in the summer, when maybe a breeze is blowing. Get some ice-cream at one of the little vendors on the way up or down. See more..

I was in doubt if I should make a review or if I should make a blog about this place. It is incredible the feeling of climbing those infinite stairs during the whole night, passing through small stores, temples, wilderness... I could not stop myself when I was seeing elderly and children, entire families, groups of friends, couples - all with a simple and magnificent target: See the sunrise from the Taishan mighty summit. You will get exhausted, perhaps hurt, probably will end up around your physical limits. At the end, if you have a minimum adventure spirit, you will feel: "IT IS worthy" PS.: Pay attention to the last quarter, the ancient stairs were not built following our latest safety standards, so it can get really dangerous. Please hold tight into the steel bar you find on both sides as much as possible to mitigate the risk of serious injury. See more..

总体是很刺激的，分为猛士漂和勇士漂，一路上都是漩涡，还有很多滑道，那才叫刺激，完全是抛物线坠落，算是我去过最好玩的一次漂流啦，有时间真的可以去试试。
