4.0Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street(82 reviews) - Nice street to walk around Friday: 8:30 AM - 11:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Historic Walking Areas
I would suggest you to walk around there in the evening when it is not that hot and humid. You can kill some time there doing window shopping and try out some street food. Good thing that no motor vehicles are allowed in the entire area. You would end up 'QiJiang' River. There are more shops by the river and street performances in summer nights. There is a nice dessert shop along the river area that I liked their "steamed milk egg", "ginger milk", "double layers skin milk". I loved the dessert there.See more..

4.5Licha Village(4 reviews) - Excellent place Historic Walking Areas
Licha Bagua cun (licha bagua village) is a small village of houses, which are arranged as a circle, and at the center these is a small area with bagua symbol (yin and yang). Most of houses are closed, but at some of them (2-3 houses) people live. Village is very ancient. You can see a traditional chinese architecture. A ticket to get inside village costs 20yuan. I travelled there from Guangzhou. Firstly, i went to Fangcun bus station, there i got a ticket to Zhaoqing (2-2.5 hours, about 50yuan). At Zhaoqing i went to Qiaoxi bus station, where i took 315 bus (30min, about 7yuan). Dont forget to ask bus driver to stop near Licha Bagua Cun. I returned to Guangzhou at 4pm, so i spend about 7-8hours at all this trip and i dont regret! It was one of best days, which i spend in China.See more..
