    Worth going !!
Beautiful natural scenery, perfect highway assess. Hotel is good with private spa. Food is so so, suggest to eat outsides. Do not drive to save yourselves more energy, hire private car to ride you to top of MTs. Worth going with cheap hotel package. We have group of 16 people and joined cheap travel package from HK, everyone enjoyed.

Less frequented/accessible but well worth it
This place is a lot less famous than it's more eastern and well-travelled equivalent of Danxia Park, but it is equally worth visiting. Getting there: Several ways of getting there exist, (either from Eastern train station, or from main train station, or from city centre, and eiter direct to the park or via a place called Ruyuan). I got a bus from Shaoguan (bus station in town called: 西河客运站, Xi He Ke Yun Zhan, Sai Ho Hap Wan Zham), to Ruyuan (乳源) bus station then another bus to 五指山 (Wu Zhi Shan, Ng Ji Shan). It takes about 1 hour for each leg, so total 2 hours (without counting the stop-over time in Ruyuan). Some direct buses from Shaoguan to Wuzhishan only leave 2-3 times a day. There fore in low season, it is more convenient/fast to go to Ruyuan and change for Wuzhishan. Sites: It is preferable to spend 2 days on site to fully visit every nook and cranny. Getting around inside the park: During peak season there are shuttle buses that run through the park on a regular basis and visitors can hop on and off as they please. Alternatively there are private drivers with MPVs (multi-people-van) that will approach you as you arrive at Wuzhishan and will offer to take several passengers together around the park. Their service is not cheap but by far the most convenient. (message me for 2 drivers we used that were very friendly and helpful) Accommodation: Several places offer basic service & comfort (Orange House, 橙屋, chen wu, chaan uk: is a famous place located at Wuzhishan, and is visible as you arrive by bus). Other places are scattered nearby between the arrival area and the actual entrance to the Nanling park (about 5km down the road). Other sites: From Nanling you can also access Da Xia Gu (大峡谷, Dai Hah Guk) which is even more remote and less frequented, but worth it. You can get there from Nanling, via Ru Yuan, but bus times are irregular. Daxiagu park takes half a day, so easily done if you arrive in the morning and get the bus back to Ruyuan (last bus is mid/end afternoon). There are few places to stay at Daxiagu. So make sure you do not get lost. Other tips: Best season to go is late spring / summer / early autumn as the views from atop Ruyuan summit or Guangdong first peak are a lot better with clear skies. You can plan 5-7 days around the 3 areas aroudn Shaoguan: Nanling, Daxiagu, Danxia.
