If you like to ride bikes, this is a must do

This is where you will find the GD Greenway, a China bicycle path network that covers all of southern China. There a -loads- of bike rental shops at the entrance. You can rent a very nice mountain or other style bike, including for the kids, for just a few $$$USD for a half a day. The ride around the reservoir takes 2-3 hours, has lots of stopping points and is good fun. The GD Greenway is relatively new and is gorgeous. The bike paths are asphalt and are new and well-marked and well-maintained, there are restrooms along the way and lots of things to see. The route can be a bit challenging as it's a bit hilly, but none of us had any problem with it. My only complaint is that we wanted to do a lot more riding but it only took a few hours to go around, and that included stopping, taking photos, etc.

    Beautiful!
    Its free,clean and nice view! all you need is rent the bicycle on the entrance, there is a dozen renter just opposite the entrance. Choose your bike, best with gear! only cost 20rmb for half day rent..you can spent solid 2 hours for one lap! Visited on winter , i am almost no sweating at all!

    Great place to work up a sweat
    Just a few kilometers out of town is this lovely reservoir to walk or bike around. Bikes can be rented at any of many rental shops that line the roads leading here, for about 20 RMB each. It's lovely and fairly empty during the week, packed with people on the weekend.
