We went in July, so this will be very different for those traveling when there is snow. 1. Get a driver who will take you for 40 RMB and get you a discount ticket for 200 RMB 2. Bring your own windbreaker and coat. Those red ones they rent look disgusting. 3. Sunscreen, we got burnt even with it. 4. If you think you need oxygen, buy it in the city for 25 RMB a large canister. Don't listen to people saying that the city-bought oxygen is lower quality. 5. Go in the morning. Large groups of tourists come over from the national park and grasslands in the afternoon. 6. There is some, but limited, food options in the mid-level and upper level areas. 7. If you are worried about not being able to physically climb, there is no climbing involved. Apparently there is a footpath for those who want to climb, but I do not know anything about it.See more..

You can learn the legend of Singing Festival in Baoxiangsi Temple in Shibaoshan Mt. There is a hall for the statues of Ten Boys and Ten Girls who fought with the dragon. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the singing festival, please come to visit us in Shibaoshan on Sep 2nd this year, because it is July 27 in the Lunar Calendar again! I stopped at this place on my way from to Deqin, local driver suggested us to visit the temple. It was a very peaceful place and I enjoyed my time there. Inside there are Tibetan Buddhism statues.See more..
