3.5Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan)(1.286 reviews) - A Symbol of Guilin, a world natural heritage. Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Geologic Formations
Resembling an elephant drinking water from the Li River with its long trunk, this hill towers more than 55 meters above the water.See more..
4.0Moon Hill(1.008 reviews)from $45.00 - Hot and humid but a great view Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM Geologic Formations
A hard climb up a lot of steps on a very hot and humid day. I stopped at the half way point as it began to rain and thunderstorms were likely. My husband continued to the top and enjoyed the view but said you actually get a better view of the hill from lower down. Excellent view of surrounding area too. See more..
4.0Silver Cave(537 reviews) - Average but a bit tacky Geologic Formations
We went as a rainy day activity. It was OK. Impressive caves and formations but a bit tacky with the coloured lights and tat shops midway round. The best thing about this visit was discovering the the Ruyi Peak cable car on the way back. We stopped off there - now that’s an attraction! Suspension bridges, glass walk ways and views to die for, even in poor weather. See more..

3.5Water Caves(105 reviews) - Avoid this fake, overpriced, underground cemented light show Bodies of Water • Geologic Formations
Horrible place. There was tourist trap written all over it. 80RMB just to get in to wait an hour to start the tour. At least 30-40 people in the tour. The women gave a boring speech about the cave's history and the different structures of the cave. Upon entering, your are overwhelmed by the number of Chinese tourists fighting to take a picture of the "natural" formations. We eventually walked well ahead of the pack and made our own fun little tour (recommended). The entire place was lit up in glory which is common to see in China. The next complaint I'm writing to is for Green Peace because they had a large sea turtle trapped in a little box for public viewing. So cruel. Then there was a gift shop and fake hot springs and mud baths (see above complaints). Looking at the pictures, I'm starting to wonder if the entire place was just cement and lights. Don't waste your time!See more..
4.5Folded Brocade Hill (Diecai Hill)(103 reviews) - Most favorable mountain park for local residents. Lookouts • Geologic Formations

5.0Crystal Palace of Bama(12 reviews) - A beautiful cave worth visiting Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
I have visited about eight limestone caves in China, and I like the Crystal Palace most. The cave is bigger than other caves; it is deep, wide and tall. The stalagmites and stalactites come in various sizes and shapes, and are illuminated by colorful floodlights. A good point about the cave is that the paths are covered with non-slip mats, and hence you don't have to worry about slippery rocks. We all agreed that this beautiful cave is worth visiting.See more..
An interesting venue to visit when going to the Longji Rice Terraces... this is a must do , as there isn't anywhere else in the world you have the chance to see this. The cultural performance is a must-see as that is the summary of what you can see of the ladies hair, their culture with some fun thrown in. The women embroidery works are of good quality ..but choose carefully as some like the poaches are machine-made mass produced ones. How do you know is machine made? a small poach costing RMB25 (S$5) are definitely mass-produced type, as it can be bought elsewhere. Try out the local bamboo cooked chicken and river fish cuisine at restaurant along the river, just along the road leading to the village entrance. The bamboo bridge leading to the village is rickety and swings about... not for those on wheelchair. Have fun :)See more..

4.0Jade Forest of Hezhou(8 reviews) - 玉石林游记 Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Geologic Formations
Leye was a little known hillside county until the international expedition explored and discovered a cluster of previously unknown pits. The sinkholes or collapsed caves, several hundred meters underground, were formed millions of years ago by some unusual geological movements. What a magnificent creation of nature! Absolutely a world-class quality tourism resources.See more..
5.0Longyan Rocks of Guilin(7 reviews) - Must-see, but be prepared for the local China experience. Tuesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Geologic Formations
Absolutely stunning rock formations, and well worth the effort to make it out there. Neon lights and boisterous crowds, along with hawkers for photographs and souvenir stands ruin any sort of nature ambience, but it’s simply unforgettable, and by the end of it you may appreciate the lighting. English audio guides are provided at no cost, but be prepared to line up for at least 20 minutes, if not an hour. Great for rainy days as it's all indoors, and the rain trickles down into the caves for even greater effect. Lots of steps, so very young ones might not enjoy it, and not stroller-friendly.See more..

4.0Hezhou Stone Forest(4 reviews) - Rather disappointing Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Geologic Formations
This “stone forest” doesn’t keep its promises- the area is too small to impress! Sure, the stones are marvelously placed and arranged by the but, I am afraid to say I have seen betterSee more..
This is a really huge place where you can at least have 4 to 5 hours of fun, though it can be tricky with children... There is a mountain with a large Buddha character (fo) on it. On the other side you can climb the mountain via many different routes along the mountain with different things to see. There is a cave with 500 statues, a small temple with a Guanyin statue. There are also the small caves with rooms where some people lived. And many more other things to see.See more..

4.0Bainiaoyan Cave(1 review) - Bainiaoyan cave or grotto Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
The boat on Panyang river all the way into the cave is very enjoying and scenic. Dont go after heavy rainfall night before, as the river water is not clear (muddy) and the boat cannot go all the way into the deeper end of cave due to water level rising.See more..
