This is an amzing site to see. We went when the colour of the rice was changing from green to yellow , absolutely beautiful . There is a cable car to go up the hill but the climb is not to serious . If you are pressed for time take the cable car up and down otherwise enjoy the views and walk through the rice terraces.See more..

I visited this place on my bike ride to the moon hill. Basically it's a very old and a very big tree, apparently 1500 year old. I would say it's quite impressive, but it would be better if it's not fenced off and having 100s of tourists walking around taking photos. The entry fee is 20 Yuan, which is not bad but if it's a worthwhile investment to see an old tree, I'll leave it to you. Wuming Yiling Cave is a beautiful place in Nanning. During the Sanyuesan Festival I went Yilingcave with my families from the Guangxi Tourism Center of the Luban Road,it is very convenient to go by bus and about 1 hour way to there. As the Sanyuesan Festival is an important festival for the Zhuang people, so there are many actives were held in the Yilingcave,the guides and the staffs are dressing the Zhuang clothing very beautiful , and we can eat free the Zhuang snack ,like Ciba ,Zongzi and five colored sticky rice, very delicious. This minority area is set among rivers, forests and tea plantations and is in the throes of a tourist upgrade, so has quite a few boardwalks, tea houses and a bunch of shows with Dong women doing a fair bit of costumed singing and dancing. This is all in a rural setting and the endless stacks of tall wooden, and now disguised concrete, buildings in this unique bustling set of laneways. Lots of interesting architecture, friendly people and a bunch of longer walks through the countryside give the area enough interest for a couple of days, or longer if relaxation in an exotic location is the brief. The taxi fare from Sanjiangnan fast train station is 100 quai and takes about 45 min depending on traffic flow through Sanjiang Town.See more..

While staying in Guilin we had a fantastic day trip to the Longsheng village where the Yao minority lives. Spectacular rice terraces hight high up in the steep mountain sides. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! If you go to Guilin make sure you make time for a tour here. To us this was almost as spectacular as the boat trip on Li River. We had everything arranged by China Highlights and were fortunate to have Mr Frank as our guide. Both the company and our guide are highly reccomended!See more..

We went via city bus. we were total of 8 people and we reached there in an hour from nanning city. The place is very close to nature. You will have to hire a boat to reach at the main tourist area. The place is really fun. We made indian dish "dal-bati" and some indian tea. It was fun.See more..

Jiahe hot spring scenic resort is located about 13 kilometers from Nanning international convention and exhibition center. There is an International tournament 18-hole golf course out near the hot spring valley. The spring temperature is great, with well-maintained facilities and good services. But food is expensive. It feels particularly good for a walk after spring spa, the surrounding scenery is undeniably a feast for the eyes, you can totally reinvigorated by breathing the fresh air and enjoying the distant view of the golf course. Must go. Not far from Rongxian town. The is a caravan park. Unsure where to rent caravan. Entrance fees is RMB 80 inclusive of buggy ride. Ride to end to enjoy "Buddha" words on cliff. Excellent scenery, not excessive developed like Guilin, still maintained the original style. It is a typical karst landscape scenic area not far from Nanning. Touring by boat, the mountain forests seems like rising from the ground on both sides and reflected in the clear river. The whole trip is very quiet and cozy.See more..
