On arrival by bus at Dazhai, we booked the cable car ride both ways. Senior pays 90 yuan both ways while a normal ticket is 100 yuan both ways. The cable car station is next to the bus station. We saw many people hiking up to the cable car station. If the weather is good, I would suggest taking the cable car one way and hike the other way. From the cable car station, we could also walk to Tian Tou Zhai which is a large village at midpoint while Dazhai is a village at the base. We ate lunch of bamboo chicken and bamboo rice at the restaurant up there. There are also some locals offering meals at their place. One must defintely hike here to enjoy the rice terraces. However I noticed that it is more pleasant to walk after 4 pm as the mid day heat can be quite hot. So stay at Dazhai or Tian Tou Zhai if possible to enjoy the experience of this rice terraces.See more..
We took a tour vehicle to come to this attraction. Our original destination was only the place whose picture is on the RMB 20 Yuan note. But the tour vehicle driver recommended the Jiuma Mountain (meaning "Nine Horse Mountain"). Although it is not that easy to recognize all the 9 horses on the mountain, the landscape near the mountain, which is by the Li River, is stunning!See more..

Took a while to find the path - go up concerte steps heading to massage place - keep going up and the turn left into dirt trail (see pics below) It’s a big of a scramble and not for tourists without the right shoes and cab hike steep slippery terrain - we went day after rain and it was super slick Well worth the trek - view from top is spectacular See more..

Yufeng Mountain (鱼峰山 - yú fēng shān) means "Fish Peak Mountain" as the karst hill has teh appearance of a fish leaping from the water. The hike to the top is strenuous, so many people take the cable car, at least for the ascent. Mountains As other reviewers have noted, Panlong mountain sees very few foreign visitors, and not even very many domestic tour groups either. Nice traditional place, very small city by chinese standards. People here are noticeably more polite to outsiders than elsewhere in China, perhaps the remoteness plays a factor in this? A nice place to stop by for a short visit, a pleasant break from the crowds and hustle & bustle elsewhere in China.See more..

Si registra hacer ejercicio está bien. Se trata de la subida a una montaña, todo con escaleras. No recomendable para hacerlo con niños muy pequeños o personas mayores, dado que la subida con calor puede resulta algo dura. Desde arriba hay unas buenas vistas, pero tampoco espectaculares.
