This was only the 2nd cave I’ve been to and it was truly beautiful. You go in as part of a group but you don’t have to stay with the group as you move through the cave. The cave itself was beautiful with amazing lighting throughout l. Prices for children under 18 are advertised as half price BUT this is only for Chinese kids. There is a way around this by bringing your child’s student or library card with you. That may possibly get your child to get in half price - ¥90 per person is full price. See more..

3.5Moon Water Cave(38 reviews) - Stumbled across the “Gold Water Cave” Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Caverns & Caves
Out for a trek whilst staying in the Yangshuo area at the Zen Garden Resort in the next village down the road. Enjoyed the reprieve from the heat of the day. Nice crystal caverns with stalagmites, a mud bath and a hot spring ... which we surely would have partaken had we been equipped with bathing costumes. Alas it was a nice journey into the limestone mountains, and also welcome vendors of beverages, plus flush toilet facilities. Bring your own paper and hand sanitizer as always. See more..
Quiet and interesting visit...good place to take pics. Guides speak in Chinese only. The visit take less one hour, it is better if you have Chinese friends with you for translations. See more..
5.0Crystal Palace of Bama(12 reviews) - A beautiful cave worth visiting Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
I have visited about eight limestone caves in China, and I like the Crystal Palace most. The cave is bigger than other caves; it is deep, wide and tall. The stalagmites and stalactites come in various sizes and shapes, and are illuminated by colorful floodlights. A good point about the cave is that the paths are covered with non-slip mats, and hence you don't have to worry about slippery rocks. We all agreed that this beautiful cave is worth visiting.See more..
4.5Baimo Cave(12 reviews) - One of the most interesting caves in China Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Caverns & Caves
60 RMB now and the area is becoming heavily developed. As Bama becomes China's Lourdes, the water from cave is fulling a massive growth in health tourism in this area. 100 Demons cave (Baimo Dong) is one of the most interesting caves in China. A subterranean cave leads for about thirty minutes to emerge in a wonderful 'tiankeng' (collapsed cave), with lush sub tropical vegetation. A climb up the side of this tiankeng is the only practical way to get to isolated but friendly Yao village. In another part of the cave are some amazing formations that are really other worldly. Go after six and entrance is free. Alternative, take the back entrance up by the old vine shrine but be prepared for a good climb. Watch out for firefly displays in the evening and do not forget to go for a swim.See more..
3.5Luomei Lotus Cave(5 reviews) - The largest rock lotus formations in the world Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Caverns & Caves
A must for any cave afficionados, as is the entire area. This is a short but interesting cave ( in Chinese,Luomei Lianhua Dong, 23 RMB ticket price) with record breaking formations. The back entrance is no longer a free way to get in. Combine this with a visit to the excellent and free Leye museum for a great morning out. Then go hiking following the National Trail signs outside.See more..

4.5Shuiyuan Cave of Lingyun(2 reviews) - The best swimming spot in Southern China Monday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Caverns & Caves Quiet with only one other local enjoying the healthy waters when I was there. Just a half an hour's walk from the town, the Shuiyuan Cave, previously known as Ling Cave during the Qing Dynasty is located at the foot of Baihua Mountain. The shy Buddhist monk claimed there are no tunnels to be explored but the main attraction is out front. As the calcium rich water emerges from the mouth of cave, there is a natural pool with clean steps leading down on one side. I felt invigorated and energetic every time I took a dip here and am looking forward to getting back.See more..
See more..
3.0Naling Cave(1 review) - Typical karst cave but rather disorganised Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Caverns & Caves I was told that I would have to buy at least two 50RMB tickets even though I was by myself, because they are used to larger groups. In addition I was also told I would need a local guide, even though I have heard all that spiel how this rock resembles and eagle and that formation looks like a turtle a hundred times. To show, how small Lingyun is, the owner of the cave found me while i was walking back to the Mountain Villa to offer his apologies.See more..
5.0Xuehua Cave(1 review) - Amazing, ancient, and quiet. Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Caverns & Caves I climbed up to the Cave of the White Dragon this morning, takes a big fat guy about 20 minutes but well shaded with many places to rest. At the Cave there were shrines to Buddha and other ancient deities. I was most amazed by the ancient monk quarters where you can just walk into and look around, Imagine an untouched 1000 + year old site still intact and you can just walk right in. The main cavern was closed and I have no idea when it opens, but the view and scenery of the place makes it a definite place to visit when in Yizhou. When I went at 10 AM, there was nobody else around, which is nice for loud, bustling China. There are other shrines and temples in the Huxian park worth seeing as well.See more..
4.0Bainiaoyan Cave(1 review) - Bainiaoyan cave or grotto Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
The boat on Panyang river all the way into the cave is very enjoying and scenic. Dont go after heavy rainfall night before, as the river water is not clear (muddy) and the boat cannot go all the way into the deeper end of cave due to water level rising.See more..
Spectacular caverns a tiny bit spoilt by coloured lights that did not add much to what is a very beautiful attraction. Very good walkways and help for the tourists.A curious and happy crowd that was mainly chinese but always respectful of the older visitorSee more..
