- 5.0 AdventureRooms Technorama (109 reviews)
-Very good
Monday: 10:00 AM - 10:45 PM Spent 1-2 hours Escape Games
More than an Escape Room! The AdventureRooms Technorama in Winterthur are the first cooperation between AdventureRooms and a Science Center. What’s so special about this? Just like at a “normal” Escape Room you and your team need to escape by finding hidden clues, solving puzzles and proving your team spirit. But here’s the twist: Everything was co-developed and built by the experienced people of the Technorama! With their technological and scientific know-how we were able to develop riddles based on scientific and technological phenomena, which are probably unique in the world. In addition to innovative riddles our two games “SPEKTRUM” & “KONTINUUM” stand out due to their high-quality build and some surprising technological gimmicks. Now it’s up to you and your team: You have 60 Minutes - will you manage to escape? See more..
- 4.5 Lake Zurich (6.120 reviews)
-Beautiful Views
Bodies of Water
We visited the Lake mid March and thought the ferries were not running... but there were which was a nice surprise - we did a short round trip which was 2 hours. It was a lovely way to see the lake, there was plenty of space on the boat, a little café to get food and drinks and clean toilets onboard. The prices are good value just get them at the self service machine. The scenery was really beautiful you can stop and get off along your travel. Would recommend. See more..
- 4.5 Old Town (5.218 reviews)
-Wonderful old city
Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 2-3 hours Neighborhoods • Historic Walking Areas
Also known as Alstadt, Zurich's historical center is a cool mix of old and new. It's home to iconic churches like the twin towers of Grossmunster as well as Fraumunster, which is famous for its stained glass windows. You can also climb up Lindenhof Hill for a bird's eye view of the town and walk the pedestrianized streets of Niederdorf and Limmatquai—they are lively with shops by day and packed with nightlife as the sun goes down. Join a walking tour to explore the medieval alleyways or hop on a cruise along River Limmat for a different view of the picturesque Old Town. – Tripadvisor See more..

- 4.5 Uetliberg Mountain (2.565 reviews)
-Amazing views over Zurich and the mountains
Mountains
This is by far one of the best places I’ve been too for views. Recommend going at sunset it was beautiful on a clear day with no clouds. Could see all of Zurich city as well as the Swiss Mountains. It was so easy to get too, 20 minute train ride from Zurich then 10 minute walk up to the top. There’s lots of seating areas overlooking the views, I could of stayed up there for hours it was so mesmerising. If visiting Zurich I could not suggest this place enough. See more..
- 4.5 Hauptbahnhof (2.059 reviews)
-Country’s largest and busiest
Monday: 5:30 AM - 9:40 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Shopping Malls
It being Switzerland’s largest and busiest was obvious on our early morning arrival. Bustling with arrivals, departures and passengers over a few levels, it's easy to see why it is one of Europe's busiest. Dating from 1871, the exterior was in the midst of a major renovation with much hoarding and builders’ paraphernalia surrounding it. So unfortunately wasn’t possible to completely take in the purported grandeur of the exterior design. See more..

- 4.5 Limmat (936 reviews)
-Best of Zurich
Spent More than 3 hours Bodies of Water
Limmat river is what makes Zurich such a cute town. The river flows through its center dividing the city into two parts. Best time you can have in Zurich sightseeing is walking the Limmat. You can easily hop on either side of the old town, as there're several bridges downtown spanning it. First thing you'll notice when crossing the bridges is how Limmat is clear - you can see the bottom and it seems like a mountain spring from which you can drink. Almost all the city attractions are along it, as well beautiful views. See more..
- 4.5 Niederdorf (588 reviews)
-I'm inclined to think that this is the most beautiful area of Zürich.
Neighborhoods • Points of Interest & Landmarks
Niederdorf means “Old village”; but despite this name it's the last district of medieval Zürich to have developed (the oldest nucleus of the city was on the Lindenhof hill). Commonly today the term "Niederdorf" denotes the old district which is east of the Limmat river and north of the Town Hall (and which in fact has Niederdorf-strasse as its backbone), with the addition of that part of the city which immediately gathers north of the Grossmünster. The unitary character of the neighborhood is given by being very central, pedestrianised, and dotted without interruption with captivating shops or eateries which make it lively both during the day and in the evening. That a leading city of the Swiss and European economy, such as Zürich, has continuously maintained the attractiveness of this district of other times, is something that fascinates me. I always like to come back here, and I'm inclined to think that this is the most beautiful area of Zürich. See more..

- 4.5 Lindt Factory Outlet Kilchberg (362 reviews)
-Great for chocolate lovers!
Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
We booked the Chocolatier class and overall pleased. We had to Uber to get here from our hotel, it’s about 20 minute ride from the Zurich city center. We were running a little late for the class so the staff at the front desk rushed us to the class about the importance of being on time. I understand their point but I think it was unnecessary as we are late outside our control and we just needed a simple yes or no if we could still attend. We were late by a few minutes and the rest of the people attending class were still putting their belongings away in the provided lockers for the class. You are given an apron and chef hat and her to decorate your own chocolate bar and pops. Really fun and interactive! You get to take home your chocolate creation which I think was the sweetest souvenir yet. The museum that day had no ticket availability so we just browsed the gift shop before leaving. Overall pleasant experience minus the initial comments made by the staff upon our arrival. See more..

- 4.5 Limmatquai (224 reviews)

Walking the Limmatquai which runs along both sides of the Limmat river through central Zurich is the best walk you can have here. The river divides the city in two, with several bridges connecting both sides of the old town. All major sights are along Limmatquai, and best Zurich photos you'll get from here. See more..
- 4.5 Zoological Museum (213 reviews)
-Interesting and free
Speciality Museums
An interesting museum, suitable for (almost) all ages, although not very large. You can see, first of all, a lot of stuffed animals and birds, very beautifully and realistically made. You can also see skeletons of different animals and fossils. The entrance is free, you don't have to pay anything, an extra reason to visit it. As a minus, the lack of information in English for the exhibits. You need about 90 minutes to visit it. See more..

- 4.5 Uetliberg (162 reviews)
-A Few Tips about Uetliberg
Mountains
One of the “must do” activities while in Zurich. A local told us that this “would be a fun and interesting activity.” Uetliberg is 869 meters or 2851 feet high mountain that overlooks Zurich and the lake. Taking S10 from the train station, it is a twenty minute ride to the top. There are frequent trains that go every thirty minutes. The ride is free if you have a Swiss Travel pass. There is a walkway close by where the train drops you off. The pleasant walk through the woods is about fifteen minutes uphill to the overlook, tower, hotel and restaurant. You are close when you see large light posts that look like deer antlers. If you have a vehicle the walk is not necessary. Everything at the top is free except the pleasant restaurant. We went on a rainy and cloudy day. Uetliberg was still magical. If you found this review helpful in any way, please press “LIKE” to let me know. See more..
