    Gold Elephant image
Almost hesitant to give a review as it is a hidden gem! I just left my physio appointment and did not feel entirely pain free as I had expected after 6 sessions, when I spotted the Gold Elephant. I walked in and was greeted by the lovely Bea. She was warm and friendly and able to quickly offer me a walk in slot for what was initially just a full body scrub. I usually have difficulty finding a masseurs' or wellness therapist that really gives a good body scrub in Zurich..they always too scared to actually scrub you or never really do the entire body. With Bea it was a true experience of being scrubbed with firm pressure and certainly not for wimps. She offered me a sauna session beforehand. In the end I was feeling so relaxed she offered me a complimentary back massage, this was so amazing I decided to book another almost immediately. in 90 minutes she manage to work on several places that my physio has overlooked for weeks. I felt so good walking out with the knowledge I found a wonderful place that offered a truly wonderful relaxation experience as well as an real medical massage catering to the needs of my backache. Thank you Bea! See more..

We walked from Morgarten to Unterägeri which is off road and through a nice cooling forest and then took the boat in Unteräger back to Morgarten. THIS IS HOW HISTORY CAN BE FUN! Highlights from the cultural history of Zug are presented in the theme rooms. Room follows room like a string of pearls, and you can immerse yourself in your own universe in every room. It goes without saying that suits of armour and halberds will also be shown, but that's not all by far. Visitors can immerse themselves in the past, from atmospheric scenarios up to an explosive love affair. On the basis of collection objects, interactive stations and short texts, both the young and the old can learn lots of interesting facts about the lives of people in Zug over the last five hundred years. The popular model of the city not only shows the development of the city up to 1730 - it can then be followed virtually up to the year 2013 on a touch screen. The ensemble rooms let us experience industry as our grandfathers and great-grandfathers knew it. An the multimedia stations offer further information for those who are interested in a little more background. The youngest guests are also not forgotten: The comic figure Lili guides them through the rooms with questions appropriate to their age. A wide selection of tours and workshops for all ages promises hours of excitement. See more..

    - Great food, good atmosphere, friendly and clean.
Spent More than 3 hours Beach & Pool Clubs
    Strandbad Zug image
Fenced area with a long changing area split in two that is clean. The area is small but has two main areas to relax on the grass. It has a small beach area and good swimming area. The area was also very clean and tidy. The food was very good and a selection of fast food was available and quick. Service with a smile and very little to fault, only the size, but Zug is not really a beach side town. See more..

  21. 4.5 Bloodhound Missile Station (5 reviews)
    - Very interesting, but too long
    Spent 2-3 hours Speciality Museums
    Bloodhound Missile Station image
We went there as a family and I really found it interesting and unexpected. However, it was quite long ( 2 1/2 hours) and there was no option to do it on your own. I would much prefer if this was a self guided tour that you do at your own pace. Also, this is in German only. A self guided tour would make it easier to have it in English and French as well. Stunning location, right next to the Ägerisee with great view on it. Parking is paid after an hour (however, you can park in the town and do a short walk). Tickets via the counter or machine. Free lockers, the changing rooms are a bit small, I really liked the showers. 1 25m pool, mostly reserved for training, 1 20m pool for kids and families with variable floor depth, baby bassin and additionally a very nice heated outdoor pool with jacuzzi-like features. 30. 4.0 Bossard Arena (2 reviews)
    - Bossard Arena = EVZ
Spent 2-3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
    Bossard Arena image
