Dani and his team were upmost professionals, catering to every aspect of the adventure from collecting us from our accommodation to providing wind breaker jackets, sturdy boots and all equipment. I was nervous even going up in the cable car but the pilots were reassuring and gave clear directions for the take-off. The photos and video are fantastic, definitely worth taking home. We went for two days a session of 3 hours to learn more about sea kayaking and really enjoyed ourselves with our guide Michi. He really adjusted his teaching to our pace of the day and mixed-in very nicely the techniques as we paddled quietly along a wonderful piece of Switzerland. On day 2 we got to enjoy a whole range of different kind of kayaks from long doubles to race kayaks and the extremely manoeuvrable slalom kayak as well as a open kanu for comparison. To top it off our youngest got an eskimo roll baptism. Strongly recommend to try paragliding with Flo and his team in Lucerne (Book direct with them)! The entire duration of the paragliding was enjoyable, where I believe Lucerne has the best view in comparison with the other viewpoints. Recommend to find flywithflo in google and go direct with them as it was a seamless process. We had the choice to purchase the photos and videos on site rather than having to purchase it during reservation which is great as well! Flo was very helpful in guiding us how to get to the meeting point as we were unsure of how to get there and had some issues with our SBB App. Overall, Flo and Jamina made the entire experience enjoyable with their outstanding skills and puts us at ease with clear and simple instructions (First-timer in paragliding but was not even a little anxious for the activity). For those who are a little less Rick Steves and a little more Bear Grylls. Outventure has a variety of adventure based activities...because Switzerland should be enjoyed outside. My wife and I ( both 52 and with athletic pasts...you do need to be in decent shape) opted for their canyoning Fun Adventure. Marc, our guide, was professional, knowledgeable, and a good guy to hang out with for about three hours. Nadine, Outventure's general manager, was prompt in responding to e-mails and made it easy to book our trip. The backdrop, Switzerland's Chli Schliere Canyon, was incredible in it's natural beauty. The jumping, swimming, abseiling, sliding, and climbing help work up your appetite for cheese and chocolate. We stumble across this place disembarking from our first cable car down Pilatus to pick up our second. This transfer station has an incredible view of the lake and more importantly the Frankigaudi or the longest summer Toboggan ride in Switzerland. You have to do it. Our family had so much fun, even my wife who was the slowest. You have an seat on wheels with a brake and you push it down to disengage and let gravity do the rest. Hint: Let your faster people go first, it will prevent backups down the ride. See more..

Eine Fahrt mit dieser kleinen Seilbahn aus dem Jahr 1978 ist spektakulär. Die Gondel ist auf den Seiten offen, sodass man in einer Art Openair-Seilbahn durch die Luft schwebt. Hört sich nicht vertrauenswürdig an (und sieht auch nicht so aus), ist aber sicher und für den Personenverkehr freigegeben.

Man erreicht die Talstation am schnellsten mit der Seilbahn Fell - Spis, welche Oberrickenbach mit dem Hof Spis auf knapp 1'400 m verbindet. Von dort aus bedient der freundliche Landwirt beide Seilbahnen manuell und gibt Besuchern breitwillig Auskunft zu ihrer jeweiligen Geschichte und Funktionsweise. Nur kurz umsteigen und schon befördert einen die Openair-Seilbahn innert weniger Minuten nach Sinsgäu auf über 1'600 m. Anschliessend erreicht man nach einer guten Stunde Wanderzeit den Bannalpsee, wo eine weitere Seilbahn wieder zurück nach Oberrickenbach führt.

Preis: CHF 5 (Einzelfahrt), CHF 9 (Retourfahrt)

Tipp: Die Seilbahn Spis - Sinsgäu ist Teil der Buiräbähnli-Safari. Mit dem Buiräbähnli-Pass spart man Kosten auf den einzelnen Strecken. See more..

Ouvert en 1888, le funiculaire du Bürgenstock est le plus ancien funiculaire électrique de Suisse. Le 23 octobre 2011, la ligne historique du Bürgenstockbahn a été mise en service pour la dernière fois. L'ancien funiculaire a été démoli et remplacé. Les anciens rails ont été recouverts d'éléments en béton. Les voitures historiques de 1888 avec les freins à rattrapage d'origine, en service jusqu'en 2011, ne seront également plus utilisées. Le nouveau funiculaire est en service depuis le 28 août 2017. La ligne relie l'embarcadère de Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock, desservi par les bateaux à passagers du Lac des Quatre-cantons avec la station de Bürgenstock. Time travel back to 1943 and see, how the Swiss have built fortresses in the mountains to resist the "Wehrmacht" should they have dared to cross the border. This Bunker has been decommissioned in 1987 and is now a museum. Almost a hundred soldiers would have been able to survive several months underground, with food, water and ammunition storage, as well as a small hospital with a patient ward. Visit the 2nd floor, and see where the soldiers were sleeping, eating and how the commander was the only one having a single room! Entry is just CHF 7.- For the insiders: The chocolate sold at the entrance is not normally available in the grocery stores. Firstly I’m really surprised trip advisor doesn’t have this listed as a “thing to do in Lucerne” as it’s SO EASY to get to! Really great trip up the mountain from a charming little village. You get the novelty of both an open sided funicular train AND an open-topped cable-car on the way up, and then once you’re up there the views are absolutely incredible for somewhere so easily accessible.
