Interesting and free

An interesting museum, suitable for (almost) all ages, although not very large. You can see, first of all, a lot of stuffed animals and birds, very beautifully and realistically made. You can also see skeletons of different animals and fossils. The entrance is free, you don't have to pay anything, an extra reason to visit it. As a minus, the lack of information in English for the exhibits. You need about 90 minutes to visit it.

Great museum
We visited with a 10 and 12 year old. They were entertained for a good 2 hours, it was difficult to tear them away. They loved the tables with the microscopes on, utterly fascinated. The museum is spacious and clean, lending itself to a relaxing wander. Lots of interesting taxidermy! Entrance is free but of you want to buy anything from the gift shop you will need Swiss francs, they don't accept cards.

Great place to visit
Great place to visit. We went with our 6-year-old grandson who loved looking at all the insects through a microscope and listening to all the commentaries. What I particularly liked was being able to match birdsong with all the different birds. It would have been easier if they had had the common names for the birds in English, but that’s just laziness on my part. Fabulous that it was free when everything in Switzerland is generally so expensive. Well worth a visit.
