Outstanding presentation, Fantastic collection
Superb museum. We were there for the special and temporary exhibition of Nikki De St Phalle's various arts (until Jan 2023). The building is super modern. You can pass by the undergroud passage to reach the other building on the other side of the road, very useful when it's raining or cold. On the other building this is the permanent collection with painting from Van gogh, Cezanne, Braque, Picasso, Modigliani, etc... Very large room very well litten. The admission comes at the rate of CHF 23, you receive a sticker with a letter showing what you paid for and gives you acces to all room (letter K) without any question asked. There are larges areas with lockers (It's free) where you can leave your stuff during your visit. Open from 10h00 to 20h00

Only the great Moderns to be visited
Due to some fire damage in the main gallery it was possible to only visit the collection in the opposite building. But what a collection. All the greats of modern art are here. Miro has a couple of works. Monet and Manet are well represented. A large Water Lily Pond amongst the former's. Cezanne’s The Old Gardener and Boy in Red Waistcoat are just some of his on display. An more optimistic Van Gogh is the pleasant Blossoming Chestnut Branches. Two Friends by Toulouse-Lautrec in additional to a fine portrait by the same artist are grand. Unsurprisingly a few by Picasso are to be admired. A fabulous spend of a couple of hours.
