5 Star Places To Visit in Prince Edward Island, Canada (50)
5.0Tranquility Cove Adventures(338 reviews) - A must do in PEI Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours • Sightseeing Tours
Our first visit to PEI. We experienced this adventure with our two daughters, son-in-law & grandsons. We booked a private outing with the owner, Perry. Adventure consisted of clam hunt, shore lunch & fishing. Arranged lobster, mussels & crab through Perry. Clams we found were cooked up with the seafood feast. Equipment was very well maintained & it's evident that Perry takes pride in what he does. We felt welcomed right off the bat. The entire private trip was well worth the cost. If you're heading to PEI & you're looking for something that will be a highlight, make sure to give Perry a call.See more..
5.0Island Hill Farm Inc(245 reviews) - Our favorite place on PEI since 2013 Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Farms
We are a commercial dairy goat farm, opening our doors to the public. We milk our herd twice a day and use the milk for our hand crafted soap. We have 8 different breeds of goats, with a total herd of over 100. A miniature donkey, miniature horses, alpacas, various pigs, with a variety of hens and bunnies to handle. Rain or Shine. Always check our website for the most current open hours. Thank you!See more..
5.0Cavendish Cliffs(188 reviews) - Not easy to find keep trying to find the gorgeous rock formations and beach Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas
These are inside Prince Edward National Park. I couldn't find an actual address to use for our map app to get to them so I tried using the address to the park, which took us to the wrong parking lot. Staff told us to go out that lot and left at the light but not good signage after that. Asked again and got to the correct gate. Park personnel confirmed they were in that area. $16 for the car for the day quite a bargain for we four adults we figured we'd just look at them and take photos and that would be it. Instead, if you follow the signs to Rustico Beach you can go down to beach level and wade and/or walk over closer to the scenic hold in the formations. It was a beautiful day and so relaxing to hang out there for a while this ended up being one of our favorite things for the week we were in Halifax and Charlotteville.See more..
5.0The Fiddling Fisherman(166 reviews) - Great fiddle tunes, great trip! Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
Spent a gorgeous evening aboard Chaisson A Dream Jigs and Reels tour. JJ and Julie are great hosts. JJ is an accomplished musician and what’s more enjoyable in PEI than fiddle music, great stories, a bit of step dancing and a gift of spoons to make your own music, all while out on the water. Scenery and wildlife a bonus. I highly recommend joining the Chaisson’s for this little cruise (I’m sure the lobster dinner trip would be fabulous too). Sit back, relax and enjoy.See more..

5.0Joey's Deep Sea Fishing(145 reviews) - An unforgettable experience Saturday: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
First we met Joey what a nice gentleman. We booked a deep sea cod and mackerel fishing tour with him. The tour lasted 3 hours and we enjoyed every minute. The crew was fantastic with the captain David and his son Collin. They both entertained and helped us to catch some fish. David knew where to go because we caught lots of mackerels to bring back with us and cod that we had to release and throw back in the water. We would highly recommend Joey’s Deep sea fishing for an enjoyable experience.See more..

5.0PEI Segway Tours(103 reviews) - An awesome experience! Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Segway Tours
We visited PEI Segway Tours today for the first time, and enjoyed it immensely! Myself, my husband, my 14-year old daughter & her friend were all able to navigate smoothly, despite a wide variety of body types and athletic abilities. After only minutes, were very comfortable and ready to ride. Our guide, Greg, was Awesome the girls! He was so engaged with them and made it a great experience. Had the absolute pleasure of going out on a charter with Darren and his amazing skipper, Porter. Myself and 3 friends did a half day adventure...clammin, mackerel fishing & learning about lobster and crab trapping. Darren cooked up the fish and clams right on the boat!...a fabulous lunch and rewarding to eat what we caught. We also got to see seals in their natural habitat...another highlight of the day. If there's one adventure you must do while visiting the island of PEI, it definetely has to be Paradise on the Sea Adventures in Souris...a day to remember for sure!See more..

5.0By The Sea Kayaking(74 reviews) - One of the highlights of our trip! Kayaking & Canoeing
My husband, two children (7 and 12) and I partook in this sea kayaking and clamming adventure. This was one of my favourite things we did on our whole trip. The guide was great, very knowledgable, and the clamming was so much fun!! We found a lot of clams, I think the guide was impressed that people from the prairies were so good at clamming! The bonus was the delicious clam chowder that he made when we returned to the beach!See more..

5.0Red Rock Adventure Company(64 reviews) - A truly authentic island experience! Saturday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Cultural Tours • Historical & Heritage Tours • Bike Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
Did the dirt shirt bike tour and beach boil. If you want a truly authentic island experience, you’ll want to make sure you visit Red Rock! Nathan and Annie are exceptional hosts who ensure their patrons’ comfort while entertaining with stories and history about the area. The dirt shirts look great, just be prepared to get dirty (feels like that almost doesn’t need to be said). The food on the beach was outstanding and plentiful. The staff clearly work hard ‘behind the scenes’ allowing us to sit and enjoy the beautiful location. Even the bald eagles performed on cue, breathtaking. Definitely a must do on the east side of the island and something we’ll be back for!See more..
5.0Paddles on Fortune River(64 reviews) - Serene Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
This was my second time here and this time I brought a friend. We initially tried the paddle board for the first time but the current was a little too strong for us. Mia and Charlie were so good to facilitate us and let us switch to kayaks. I'm already planning on coming back soon. I haven't felt that relaxed in a while. Great location. Will be back soon ☺️See more..
5.0Bob's Deep Sea Fishing(59 reviews) - Bob’s deep sea fishing was great! Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours
What a fun experience this was! We wanted to do some cod fishing, but first we needed to get the bait which was mackrel, once we dis that we went further out to sea and were able to start hooking up our lines for cod. We had rain, a lot of waves but the captain assured us we were safe and gave us an afternoon of fishing. we each went home with fresh cod and had a great day. Huge thanks to the team that helped us that day!See more..
5.0Shoreline Design(51 reviews) - A True Gem Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops
I was introduced to Peter and his wife Gayle during my first trip to Georgetown, nearly 3 years ago. I went in for the jewelry and left with new friends. When I returned this year, Peter yelled out my name and gave me the biggest hug. I ended up spending a couple mornings at the shop - both purchasing a couple new pieces and learning to make my own. Peter’s jewelry is beautiful and his friendship and mustache are priceless. Make sure to add a trip to Shoreline Design to your itinerary!See more..
From the visit to the website, to the call back from Gerrard, to the boat experience, this exceeded our expectations. The customer service on the phone was great and the booking was easy. On arrival at the boat Gerrard and Riley were great. Upon getting on the boat was the safety briefing, pretty generic stuff, don't be fooled by this line, "now we are lobster fisherman, not tour guides, we do this after lobster season". They are phenomenal tour guides, it's their character that made it for our family, they were so easy to talk to. We will do this tour again next summer.See more..

An excellent Deep Sea Fishing business at reasonable cost oriented towards families. Marvin and his daughter JoLynn went out of their way to make sure everybody had a great time including the kids. They would set the hook with a fish on and hand the rod to the little kid to reel it in. Marvin knows his stuff and took us out to areas where there were lots of mackerel and cod to catch. The boat is newer and well maintained and fishing gear is simple and of good quality. Overall, an excellent morning spent on the water. Highly recommended.See more..

There was 9 of go kayaking at 11 am on Saturday, July 11th and it was great fun, and the two young women that waited on us were very helpful and friendly. We noticed the cruising boat for the sunset cruise from 7 to 9 pm and asked the staff about it. We checked on line and made the booking for 12 that evening. 5.0East Coast Paddle Adventures(22 reviews) - Your one stop spot for paddling and cycling adventure! Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Stand Up Paddleboarding
We are so glad to have found East Coast Paddle Adventures! Matt and Krista are super friendly and really go out of their way to ensure we have fun each time we visit. So far this summer, we’ve rented kayaks to explore the Souris river as a family, paddle boards to explore beautiful Basin Head and just tonight we rented bikes and did the scavenger hunt around Souris! Despite having visited the region many times over the years, the scavenger hunt led us to discover many hidden treasures that we hadn’t previously experienced. Such a great way to see the town! All the equipment is like new, and Matt and Krista provide everything you need to hit the water or the road. They provide instruction and even take a few snapshots so you have a keepsake to remember your adventure. If you’re looking to get out and explore the beauty of Eastern PEI , you can’t beat East Coast Paddle Adventures!See more..
We had a great time, they were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We all caught fish and they did a great job filleting them. We cooked the mackerel that night and it was delicious. Highly recommend them and would go back there next time we are in PEI.See more..
My family and I have done quite a few excursion trips but this was definitely one of the very best. Carl and his team took us out for the best fishing trip of our lives. Our kids had a blast... my 8 year old son alone caught 18 mackerel and 1 cod. On top of that, the rest of us couldn’t keep count of all the fish we caught, it was just so fun! Watching the gannets and gulls dive for fish all around us was such a treat. The crew was absolutely incredible and even filleted some fish for us to take home and feast on. I highly recommend the Bearded Skipper’s Deep Sea Fishing to anyone looking for an excellent time!See more..
This has become an annual event when we visit PEI. Great setup for paintball. Great selection of gear (overalls, gloves, shoes, neck guards), guns, and great fields on which to play. Safety is stressed and maintained by refs. Staff is all very friendly. Obviously cost depend on how long you spend there and how many bullets you shoot but on average we spend $100 a person for 4 hours of play. We play the low impact paintball, just as fun but dont come home with any welts, just smiles! I have been there 3 times and each visit I am more impressed by the staff and setup. See more..
I met Cameron on Tuesday August 16th, 2022, for my first ever fly fishing experience. It was a beautiful day. Cameron provided all the missing equipment I needed. I had my own purchased before Covid that was sitting there waiting to hit the water surface. Cameron explained the technicalities of setting up a fly fishing rod, the do’s and the don’t and showed me the basic casting skills. Within minutes there I was fly fishing. He showed me all the great fishing holes on the river and gave me a map of other great fishing places on the island. All this to say, “I’m hooked” on fly fishing, thanks to Cameron. If you are looking for a great fly fishing experience “On the Fly PEI” is where you need to go. Thanks again Cameron for the great experience.See more..

We were fortunate in snagging two tickets for this evening to American Pie, as it is currently sold out. It was a brilliant show, and we hope that it will be repeated, or that something similar will be offered next summer. Mike Ross put his “heart and soul” into the show, as did the other artists! Bravo! Harmony House is a unique venue where we make every effort to see The Island Revue with Patrick and Mark each summer. They bring the spirit of PEI to the audience with music and humor. We have been “summer residents” on this beautiful island for over twenty years and urge visitors to attend as many performances as they can. We will definitely be back, on our next trip (but probably not for a birthday party in January!) Thank you for some family fun....See more..
Our visit this summer ('18) to Tony's Tuna cottages and fishing was truly outstanding. The cottages feel like a home away from home, come outfitted with a full kitchen, living area, big bathroom and 2 bedrooms. There are big decks at the front of each cottage. The fresh lobster meals prepared for us and delivered to the cottage were delicious, filling, and came with more than enough side dishes. The tuna fishing itself was downright amazing! Caught hefty tunas each time we went out. What an exhilarating experience!See more..
