Had the absolute pleasure of going out on a charter with Darren and his amazing skipper, Porter. Myself and 3 friends did a half day adventure...clammin, mackerel fishing & learning about lobster and crab trapping. Darren cooked up the fish and clams right on the boat!...a fabulous lunch and rewarding to eat what we caught. We also got to see seals in their natural habitat...another highlight of the day. If there's one adventure you must do while visiting the island of PEI, it definetely has to be Paradise on the Sea Adventures in Souris...a day to remember for sure!See more..

What a fun experience this was! We wanted to do some cod fishing, but first we needed to get the bait which was mackrel, once we dis that we went further out to sea and were able to start hooking up our lines for cod. We had rain, a lot of waves but the captain assured us we were safe and gave us an afternoon of fishing. we each went home with fresh cod and had a great day. From the visit to the website, to the call back from Gerrard, to the boat experience, this exceeded our expectations. The customer service on the phone was great and the booking was easy. On arrival at the boat Gerrard and Riley were great. Upon getting on the boat was the safety briefing, pretty generic stuff, don't be fooled by this line, "now we are lobster fisherman, not tour guides, we do this after lobster season". They are phenomenal tour guides, it's their character that made it for our family, they were so easy to talk to. We will do this tour again next summer.See more..
There was 9 of go kayaking at 11 am on Saturday, July 11th and it was great fun, and the two young women that waited on us were very helpful and friendly. We noticed the cruising boat for the sunset cruise from 7 to 9 pm and asked the staff about it. We checked on line and made the booking for 12 that evening. It was fantastic - we had a lot of fun and saw 25+ seals. Captain Chad was great and knowledgeable and we had lots of questions for him. It was great value!See more..

We recently went on the river cruise. The food was catered by Windows on the Water, probably the best local restaurant. The boat was equipped with large windows so you felt as if you were outside.The person supplying the soft music through a guitar and singing was excellent. His descriptions of local sites and fishing equipment seen from the boat was informative as was his historical accounts. The seals were seen loafing on a large raft which was likely placed for that purpose. It was a perfectly calm evening which made for a dramatic sunset. It is a little pricey but you are getting a restaurant quality lobster meal. I would not hesitate to recommend the Cruise to friends.See more..
My family and I have done quite a few excursion trips but this was definitely one of the very best. Carl and his team took us out for the best fishing trip of our lives. Our kids had a blast... my 8 year old son alone caught 18 mackerel and 1 cod. On top of that, the rest of us couldn’t keep count of all the fish we caught, it was just so fun! Watching the gannets and gulls dive for fish all around us was such a treat. The crew was absolutely incredible and even filleted some fish for us to take home and feast on. We decided at the last minute to take a tour to do some seal and whale watching. MacNeill's was recommended by the local tourist information center in Souris and they were right. We had a great time out fishing for mackerel. Didn't see any whales close up, but we did see seals and porpoises. The owner and staff are very friendly and clearly love what they do. The boat is new and very well taken care of. Highly recommend. A little hard to find the slip, so give yourself some extra time to get there.See more..

Not only did we loved our entire trip but got to fight not one but Two Tuna…… Aside from the fact that fishing is not a perfect science you are always bless when the big fish it the bait and the rill went crazy….. call it luck? I certainly think that it needs help to get some luck and with Scott and his father(Walter) we had the best partner we could to guide us through the whole process…. There are no guarantees when you go fishing but we are catching 700 to 900 pound tuna every year. Weather can be a factor so book a week, great motel, great captain and the best hospitality.See more..

Our family of four booked an ATV / side-by-side tour via Brenda. She was a real pleasure to deal with, was quick to respond and answered all our questions. After a bit of safety and operational instruction, we got underway for a roughly 3 hour tour through trails maintained by a local group / club. Our guides were Junior and Angela and they were absolutely amazing. Both very friendly and had some great stories that had us laughing. The guides made sure we knew what we doing and kept us together but at the same time left us freedom to take the trails at our own pace. Travelled a very cool collection of trails through woods and farmers fields, with the odd connection via roads. Loved tearing around the ‘pit’ at end of tour. Tour included a pit stop to grab a bite. Company also offers ebikes for rent. Super amazing time and we will definitely remember this tour. Side note: Wear clothes you’d be ok getting VERY dirty/dusty/muddy. It’s an ATV tour after all :)See more..
