Great informative cruise with great interpretation and excellent music/singer
We recently went on the river cruise. The food was catered by Windows on the Water, probably the best local restaurant. The boat was equipped with large windows so you felt as if you were outside.The person supplying the soft music through a guitar and singing was excellent. His descriptions of local sites and fishing equipment seen from the boat was informative as was his historical accounts. The seals were seen loafing on a large raft which was likely placed for that purpose. It was a perfectly calm evening which made for a dramatic sunset. It is a little pricey but you are getting a restaurant quality lobster meal. I would not hesitate to recommend the Cruise to friends.

Most enjoyable evening with excellent meal
A group of six friends did this Diner Cruise on Saturday (20 Aug 2016) and each and every one of us totally enjoyed the entire experience. Once the approximately 30 people where seated onboard and we got underway, the man providing background music an commentary began playing his guitar, singing, and describing what was in our field of view. He did a excellent job. He could easily be heard yet did not play too loudly. There is a Bar aboard where alcoholic beverages could be purchased. A delicious Seafood Chowder was the first thing we where served, and six empty bowls where retrieved shortly afterward. I was tempted to lick my bowl, however manners prevented me. Salad with a mouth watering dressing soon followed, and again all six of our plates where returned clean, with every morsel gone. Next came he main meal of Lobster or Chicken. Our table had 5 lobster plates with side salads, roll and butter plus one person went for the chicken. Both choices where excellent! Desert, coffee or tea rounded off the meal. Almost like it was timed to be, we where treated to a beautiful sunset just as the meal ended, then we leisurely sailed back to our dock. This approximately three hour cruise was also made most enjoyable by the friendliness and congeniality of EVERY staff member. I would recommend this highly, and will be returning again.

A beautiful experience
It had been raining all day in Montague, but we had booked early in the day hoping that the rain would abate. Even in the evening rain, the 2+hour trip was a delight. We were fortunate to sit next to a chef and his wife from a very famous PEI resturant and as hoped- they were a delight to talk with. I asked him his opinion of the food and his reply was affirmitive with the comment that any food he didn't have to cook was great.. the food was great. We also very much enjoyed the commentary and beautiful live music through out the trip. The river cruise cost about $75 each in US dollars including a very high quality supper of chicken, veg, dessert. For $10 extra lobster is provided , with wine or other extra. I would reccomend the river trip very highly as it's fun, edcational, and forfilling.
