4.0East Point Lighthouse(186 reviews) - The true eastern tip of PEI! Spent < 1 hour Lighthouses
As magical as when I was growing up running around the base on a family afternoon, touring our eastern peak! The gift shop is a great place to stop, shop & take in the nostalgia. Make sure you pop over to the actual light house. If you feel adventurous you can pay a small fee, and take the stairs all the way to history! It is a great view! Be prepared to climb, test your balance a wee bit on the way down and follow the signs. Stop & embrace the history on each of the floors. When you get to the top, it is as if you are looking through generations of light keepers eyes! Magic The “glass” at the top is worn and your photo won’t be crystal clear, but you can feel the air and the way rings use to be! Happy lighthousing!See more..
4.5Point Prim Lighthouse(161 reviews) - The oldest lighthouse on PEI Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lighthouses
Prince Edward Island's oldest lighthouse, built in 1845. Climb 60 ft. above sea level for a magnificent view of Northumberland Strait and Hillsborough Bay from this unique, round, brick National Heritage site. Historic displays, gift shop, guided and virtual tours and picnic area.See more..
4.5Souris Lighthouse(152 reviews) - Explore the lighthouse Lighthouses
The Souris Lighthouse was by far the best and most interesting lighthouse we visited on our trip to PEI. You are able to go inside and go to the very top to look out. You can actually step outside once at the top. There is no fee just a donation box. So much history for you to read as you travel through. The sea glass from all over the world was my favorite. There is a large gift shop next door as well. See more..
Very beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful, but defibnitely windy. We walked around the cliffs area. There’s tons of places to walk down the cliffs (safely) and get to the beach. Make sure to research the tidal times so that you’re there at a time that works best for you (low tide for visiting the reef beach but high tide times for photography).See more..

4.5Covehead Harbour Lighthouse(59 reviews) - It still stands, a sentinel Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lighthouses
With the entire world on pause, there are still quiet, uncrowded places to walk on Prince Edward Island. The snow is melting, the pack ice is receding and the seabirds hover and dip with the brisk breezes. Our beaches are wonderful in every season so I hope that you will one day come to visit this island after the pandemic has passed.See more..
Town of North Rustico is beautiful. Great restaurants and a few nice stores. Busy but worth the wait. Sea food shops are very fresh. Bring a cooler. Walk the piers. Go to the bakerySee more..
The pictures don't do this place justice! The dirt road to the lighthouse is very narrow and bumpy but it's so worth the view. The lighthouse is locked. Listening to the waves in the intense wind was something we've never experienced before. The cliffs are stunning as well!See more..
Charming little lighthouse. A very Canadian treasure well kept and easy to access. Perfect conditions. Odd hours. See more..
4.5St. Peters Harbour Lighthouse(24 reviews) - PEI get-away beach and lighthouse Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lighthouses
You drive and drive down a red dirt road. Potholes. No signage. But then you find a tiny parking lot. A beautifully restored lighthouse. And an amazing get-away beach. We walked around the corner toward St Peters Bay, past the broken post ghosts, and it was perfect. So shhh!See more..
4.5Cape Egmont Lighthouse(22 reviews) - Great for Photography Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lighthouses

This lighthouse was once lived in by my wife's late Grandmother as a child. Its not that remote. The beach is EXCELLENT for swimming. MY 8-11 year old boys swim there almost everyday in the summer. It's a fabulous spot. What is not advisable however, is to not try and cross the small strait/mouth of French River to the other side which is the tip of Cavendish beach. Do never try this. No matter what. The current is always either filling or emptying the rivers. This current is tremendous and should not be toyed with. The photography here is breathtaking. But please stay off the dunes. Worth the drive.See more..
located right beside ferry dock, 2 lighthouses and some other buildings for you to walk around the property to view. Nice water view. Maybe 30min-1hr. visit.See more..
A second lighthouse that you can drive to is easily seen from the highway. There is another similar one just a little way further away from the shore and looks very similar in construction. Hopefully this is the right one for this review. It is in good shape but open to the public. You can get a picture of the lighthouse in the bay in the background. You can walk around this lighthouse, but nor much parking. won't take long to snap a picture.See more..
Cottage was beyond our expectation. Stayed there for a week and had an amazing time. Cottage came with everything that one would need minus food of course. If you are looking for peace and quiet and amazing views, sunrises and sunsets then you will find it here. The cupola (top of cottage), gives an amazing 360 of the area and harbour. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and two on the second floor with two pullout sofas and two complete bathrooms. Beach area is secluded and perfect for a late afternoon walk. There is a cafe and ice cream/gift shop down the road. Nights are quiet and there is a good view of the night sky from the cupola but would not recommend going out at night as there is bugs. There is tons of room and would definitely recommend to families and group of friends. See more..
The beach near the last lighthouse is absolutely amazing. The sand is really smooth and the sandbars here are huge. You can explore the beach here all day. The water is really shallow along the beach and retains its heat so the water was still warm when I was there in the second week of September. When the tide goes out is when you really get to enjoy the sandbars. I was able to see live oysters burrowed in the sand and tons of different kinds of birds. There was no one there when I visited. I met a super kind local man who gave me the history of the area and gave me tips on where to find seals and schools of mackerel and the best spots to swim. Don't swim near the last lighthouse because there's a 30 feet drop off with a current right near the beach there. I almost don't want to review this place because I don't want it spoiled! Enjoy this beach. It's worth the visit.See more..
4.0Big Tignish Lighthouse(5 reviews) - History & Dedication to lost lives at sea Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lighthouses
Built in 1881, it was eventually decommissioned and stands now as a homage to the area’s fishing heritage and as a dedication to and remembrance of fishermen and others who have lost their lives at sea. The view is spectacular, the food really tasty, and service is cheerful and prompt. You have a 180 degree views of merging the Northumberland Straits and the Gulf of St Lawrence. I've seen Seals playing, Sharks stalking, and men gathering Irish Moss. There is a nice little gift shop and educational displays regarding the power producing windmills in the area, which are many. Very impressive.See more..

Inne pokazy obejmują historię miejscowości i kilka jej historycznych budynków.
