Our first visit to PEI. We experienced this adventure with our two daughters, son-in-law & grandsons. We booked a private outing with the owner, Perry. Adventure consisted of clam hunt, shore lunch & fishing. Arranged lobster, mussels & crab through Perry. Clams we found were cooked up with the seafood feast. Equipment was very well maintained & it's evident that Perry takes pride in what he does. We felt welcomed right off the bat. The entire private trip was well worth the cost. Spent a gorgeous evening aboard Chaisson A Dream Jigs and Reels tour. JJ and Julie are great hosts. JJ is an accomplished musician and what’s more enjoyable in PEI than fiddle music, great stories, a bit of step dancing and a gift of spoons to make your own music, all while out on the water. First we met Joey what a nice gentleman. We booked a deep sea cod and mackerel fishing tour with him. The tour lasted 3 hours and we enjoyed every minute. The crew was fantastic with the captain David and his son Collin. They both entertained and helped us to catch some fish. David knew where to go because we caught lots of mackerels to bring back with us and cod that we had to release and throw back in the water. What a fun experience this was! We wanted to do some cod fishing, but first we needed to get the bait which was mackrel, once we dis that we went further out to sea and were able to start hooking up our lines for cod. We had rain, a lot of waves but the captain assured us we were safe and gave us an afternoon of fishing. we each went home with fresh cod and had a great day. What a great time this was ! Captain and crew were friendly and helpful. We did the sunset time period and hauled in a ton of fish ! I was hesitant.- don’t love fishing but my fam wanted to do it. Figured I could watch the sunset and take pics. BUT NO - captain and crew made fishing easy so I took a pole and fished my heart out. An excellent Deep Sea Fishing business at reasonable cost oriented towards families. Marvin and his daughter JoLynn went out of their way to make sure everybody had a great time including the kids. They would set the hook with a fish on and hand the rod to the little kid to reel it in. Marvin knows his stuff and took us out to areas where there were lots of mackerel and cod to catch. The boat is newer and well maintained and fishing gear is simple and of good quality. Overall, an excellent morning spent on the water. Highly recommended.See more..

Donna took us out for a sunset kayak tour, and she went way above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time here. We got to kayak through the mussel farms, and get a great view of the sunset in the middle of the bay. Her pricing was also really fair, especially for the level of service we were provided. We had great fun with Captain Nick and Ben aboard a 6 pm excursion. We caught Mackerel and Cod, and lots of laughs. Captain Nick provided exceptional service, as we arrived without a reservation and short on supper... He not only offered to order us a take-out from a local golf course, he drove to get it and delivered it back to us right before departure. Both Nick and Ben were good teachers about how to handle the equipment and what to do to have good luck to catch a fish. The price for the 3 hour trip was very reasonable, the boat was comfortable, and the customer service was amazing. I'd go back in a minute!See more..
I met Cameron on Tuesday August 16th, 2022, for my first ever fly fishing experience. It was a beautiful day. Cameron provided all the missing equipment I needed. I had my own purchased before Covid that was sitting there waiting to hit the water surface. Cameron explained the technicalities of setting up a fly fishing rod, the do’s and the don’t and showed me the basic casting skills. Within minutes there I was fly fishing. He showed me all the great fishing holes on the river and gave me a map of other great fishing places on the island. All this to say, “I’m hooked” on fly fishing, thanks to Cameron. Our visit this summer ('18) to Tony's Tuna cottages and fishing was truly outstanding. The cottages feel like a home away from home, come outfitted with a full kitchen, living area, big bathroom and 2 bedrooms. There are big decks at the front of each cottage. The fresh lobster meals prepared for us and delivered to the cottage were delicious, filling, and came with more than enough side dishes. The tuna fishing itself was downright amazing! Caught hefty tunas each time we went out. What an exhilarating experience!See more..

Everything about working with David was on point. From his prompt responses to being flexible with our schedules and on time as he promised. He was able to accommodate us to a spot near our residence and was able to put us on fish almost immediately. His personality is wonderful and very likable to keep us engaged and motivated to catch those fish. And even when the fishing slowed down he was able to make light of it and keep us going. Great time fishing with Capt Bruce Keus and his mate Josh!! They worked extremely hard to put us on fish both days! They spared no expense to ensure we were in the right place at the right time to get tight on a giant Bluefin! The food prepared by the Captains mother was insane! Lobster rolls for lunch and the baked goods were first class. Told her she needs to open a bakery! Truly an amazing experience. Cannot wait to fish with them again!!!See more..
We caught tons of mackerel, a cod, and we saw a pilot whale. Dale and his first make Connor were both awesome. It was a 3 hour trip for $45 which is a great value. Being guided with great equipment, plus gas and fresh fish filets to take home? Awesome.See more..

We had our lunch at the restaurant dockside and met the people coming off his boat. They were all smiles so we decided to book our own outing, 4 adults, 2 children. What a great spot North Rustico is and to view if from the water is wonderful. Our fishing experience was great. Caught mackerel,and cod. Bob cleaned them for us and we had them for dinner that night. We had a blast. Very helpful and overall we would do it again. PS we did bring our own lifejackets for the youngsters.See more..

I have visited PEI numerous times, this trip I decided to look into what kind of fly fishing there was on the Island. I contact the Fly King Fishing Guide (Kieth Roach) and arranged a half day of fishing on the island. My focus was Brook Trout. Being from central Canada Brook Trout have gotten less common and I was looking forward to getting into them. Kieth get me into some good fishing, good sized fish too. I was very impressed. I ended up booking another trip with him. This one was even better. We got into Brook Trout, Steelhead and Atlantic Salmon. Absolutely amazing. Kieth has the knowledge and skill to teach even the most advanced Fly Fishing enthusiasts a lesson or too. Certainly his knowledge of the island is fantastic. He clearly loves fishing and tries his hardest to ensure that his clients get the most out of their time with him. I will be back for sure.See more..
