The canals area is a must see when in Utrecht. The area has lots of photo opportunities and are busy with pleasure boats and paddle boarders. There a lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from along the banks from ordinary pubs to really high class restaurants and cocktail bars. Mr H and I loved the atmosphere although we did find it difficult to get a table on a Saturday night so would advise to book early if wanting to eat in any of restaurants in this area.See more..

Hof is the heart of old Amersfoort and on a Friday evening it is buzzing! It was warm enough to sit outside on our first evening but had to sit inside on the second. What a lovely place, full of eateries and wine bars. Wonderful.See more..

"Stadsmuur Sint Annastraat" is a part of the remaining city wall of Amersfoort. We didn't intend to visit the centre of Amersfoort so we just took a walk on the green part (park) outside the city wall along the water. We parked our car on the other side of the water. It's a nice place to visit.See more..

The park is located in the complex of the Former Seminary. At the main street side, you will find a beautiful "Schaepman monument". Behind the seminary building there is a lourdes cave. We come here once in a while and the most beautiful periode for having a walk is during the changing colour time, the Autumn. It's so beautiful. You can park the car near the building self.See more..
