The Utrechtse Heuvelrug self is quite big area in the middle of the Netherlands. it's a green hilly woody area from the lake of Huizen to Grebbeberg, Rhenen. There is walking and cycling route in every part of the area. It's beautiful place to visit. Every season has its own charm. See more..

First we tried to park our car on the Sint Helenalaan but it was full so we changed our destination to the entrance "De Groene Entree", big parking area and a nice path into the wood with walking route. It's very green in the entire wood and a bit hilly. We climbed the watch tower "De Kaap". Nice to be there, higher than the trees and saw the beautiful colour of them and we could see the church towers of other towns from the distance. Kaapse Bossen is beautiful for walk. See more..
