We had a full day team building event at Landrucci. Great meeting location and because of the weather we spent most of the day outside. Superb caretaking and lunch in the orchard. Will come back! See more..

Historische Kaasmarkt Woerden; het publiek wordt elke zaterdag tussen mei en augustus getrakteerd op dit kaasfestijn. De bezoekers zijn getuige van de handel met 'handje-klap', de antieke tractoren vervoeren de kaas en er wordt live kaas gemaakt. Een spreekstalmeester geeft uitleg over alle geheimen en tradities die de Kaasmarkt te bieden heeft! See more..

It is actually not only a cheese shop but it is also a farm. The chicken were running around, the cows were waiting to be milked, the peacocks were in their loft. Next to the shop is the cheese making. In the shops there is enough things to choose. We did buy some kind of cheese, plums also the fresh eggs and I loved the fig bread. Very kind people who helped us. Next to the shop there is a museum ( in a barn). It was nice to see the collection of all the old craft items, vintage coffee machines, ovens, cans, bread machines etc. See more..

Spent 2-3 hours Farmers Markets
If youre new to the Netherlands and have not been to the cheese market, this market is a cute introduction to Dutch cheese markets. With dozens of farmers selling almost the same exact cheese, its fun to see. If, however, you like to sleep in on a Saturday, don't feel guilty if you've missed this cultural phenomenon. See more..
