4.5Botanic Gardens(262 reviews) - A very complete botanical garden! Gardens
This is a must-see in Utrecht. A weel-design and pleasant garden with plenty to see! You just don't get bored in this place, since there is so many things to discover. Of course, different plants are the main issue, but the way the plants are exhibited is very interesting (either divided but types, or by uses, or by locations). You also have a marvellous butterfly greenhouse that is just amazing!See more..
No matter if you visit Utrecht in spring, summer or autumn - do not miss out on this wonderful, amazing flower market! Takes place each Saturday on Janskerkhof. This is so much more original and beautiful than the flowermarkets in Amsterdam. And what you buy here is good quality. That goes especially for the flower bulbs.See more..
4.5Nationaal Bomenmuseum Gimborn(33 reviews) - One of the most beautiful parks I’ve seen Spent 2-3 hours Parks • Gardens
Not sure how this always flew under my radar, but surely the most beautiful parks I’ve visited. Maybe their name puts people off? I’d imagine a “tree museum” to be kind of boring if you’re not interested in trees - but that’s not what this place is about in my experience. Instead it’s a huge, diverse park with lot’s of signage for children to learn about nature and for adults, a wonderful stroll (30min short route, 90min long). If you want to see everything, you can surely spend 2 hours here.See more..

4.5Landgoed Bredius Park(7 reviews) - My favorite park in Woerden Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent < 1 hour Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks • Gardens
I was waiting for my bus near to Woerden station walking around... And suddenly among beautiful but a little bit hectic at that time dutch streets I found a park. I went in and was shocked: "How is this possible to find such a place in the middle of a city?!" Amazing colorful autumn trees, canals, birds, fatties (sheep, swans and ducks, all of them are extremely cute), NATURE! I enjoyed walking there for an hour! I think it's a good place to get rid of everything and stay only with your own thoughts (and fatties).See more..
The location is a little bit hidden in a beautiful woody area. The garden is a part of Care Facility Bartimeus. This garden has a very long history, it survived the war. It is beautiful and well maintaned. The plants are all organic. You can buy the products of this garden. There is a terrace for coffee or tea with home made cake which the ingredients are from the garden. Make your own tea by choosing one of the plants they offer (they put a sign which one you can pick it). This is only in the summer and in the winter the tearoom is closed. Once in a while they have event such as music performance, or plants market. For the opening time, see the picture. It worths visit.See more..
