4.5 (33 reviews) Spent 2-3 hours Ranking #2 in Doorn Parks • Gardens

One of the most beautiful parks I’ve seen

Not sure how this always flew under my radar, but surely the most beautiful parks I’ve visited. Maybe their name puts people off? I’d imagine a “tree museum” to be kind of boring if you’re not interested in trees - but that’s not what this place is about in my experience. Instead it’s a huge, diverse park with lot’s of signage for children to learn about nature and for adults, a wonderful stroll (30min short route, 90min long). If you want to see everything, you can surely spend 2 hours here.

one of the most beautiful parks I ever visited
A unique place. Not only a beautiful park, with wonderful trees, plants etc. What you here have, something that it's difficult to experience, is the magic. There is a very special atmosphere of peace and harmony. I am very sensitive and I had the impression that I could feel the trees literally breathing. You can just sit down on one of the benches and stay silent. You feel Nature, in its simplicity, with its sounds, which fills you with a sense of completeness. A special place.

    Walking in nature's beauty
Visited the Arboretum for the first time yesterday with M and family who have been there many times. It is a fascinating place with so many varieties. It is almost flat so easy access and has a solid earth/stone walkway making child buggy/wheelchair access easy. This is a wonderful chance to escape for a few hours and take in the beauty of nature. The children's tree house is brilliant, built around an old established tree with a play/activity area as well
