Stunning and spectacular scenic areas. Three holy snow mountains, glacial lakes, rivers and virgin forests. Wild animals I saw blue sheep, monkeys and squirrels freely had fun. Well worth the effort to reach here as it is a long way walking trek to the top and quite high at about 4600 meters. Stunning views on the way but a little bit steeper and adventurous trekking on foot. I will recommend you bring a stick and an oxygen canister but we did not need it ...just an emergency. I was here in Oct 2018(review a little bit late) it was incredible amazing and fantastic. Very greatly recommend. See more..

It was my first time hiking during a heavy winter with temperature ranging from -10 deg Celsius to -30 deg Celsius. The cold is unbearable. But the view is stunning. Beautiful beyond I could have ever expected. Tips: 1. The hike is shot but the elevation gain is steep. Therefore, recommend to acclimatize sufficiently at Changping Valley for one day, another day at the tea house, and another day at the base camp. 2. Bring wool socks and glove with tough and breathable gloves. 3. Use crampon since the snow is knee deep. 4. Bring simple food like nuts and power bars because you may not be comfortable enough to cook anything due to the cold weather. 5. Inform your guide early in case you need a horse ride up to down the mountain. 6. Your mobile phone battery will drain - limit internet and use airplane mode at all times. 7. During cold weather, opt for a cabin at the base camp instead of erecting tents outside the base camp. See more..

Spectacular and stunning scenery I have ever seen in my life. Snow mountain peaks, glacial lakes, alpine meadow, rivers, virgin forests, wild flowers and animals. Well worth the effort to get here as it is a long way mountain trek and very high at about 4600 meters. A bit steeper in the narrow uphill path, takes a long time but definitely worth it. This is a truly incredible spot, and you realize that when you get at the top after a 2-kilometer cable car ride. The vast glacier of the Gongga Mountains can be seen in all its glory from great view platform. It's a spectacular view at around 3,500-meter altitude. To get there you have to reach the small getaway town of Moxi which has hotels and the park entrance (where the staff is very helpful by the way. You can get a hotel right next. you need a good half-day to do the trip if you do not intend to do any hike or spend hours at the spa. Anyway, the park is well organized (transport) and very scenic. For photography the glacier is exceptional and depending on the season it can be truly grandiose! I was there is April, and the top is covered in snow and temps is close to freezing. On the day I visit, there was a sizable storm in the mountain and we could hear the glacier squeaking! See more..

With a group of friends, we took about 3 hours to drive from Xinduqiao (5 hours drive from Chengdu) to arrive at Zheduo mountain 1 week ago. The mountain is beautiful but during holiday and weekend, its traffic could be very bad. Hence you'd go get there earlier, say before 9am. The altitude is above 4,000m (12,000 ft). We spent a day touring the Mengdingshan Tea Plantation during our recent trip to Chengdu. The mountain is about a two hour drive from Chengdu, and the scenery, once you get there, is gorgeous. Our tour started with us picking tea leaves at the mountain's foothills. After about an hour's worth of picking, we took the tram about a mile up to the top of the mountain. While our tea was drying, we toured the mountaintop admiring the view from above. Then we, along with a master roaster, roasted our tea. The process took three separate roasting steps, and the skill of the roaster was something to behold. Her hands kneaded the leaves in the hot bowl until they were roasted to perfection. We then took a part in the tea ceremony, and had an opportunity to purchase some delicious green and jasmine tea. For the rest of the day, our hands smelled like fresh fragrant green tea. We've ascended Doutuan mountain during a weekend in the mid-autumn of 2017. The weather was perfect and the sky clear, so we decided to take the 2h pedestrian path to the top (a 10min cable car ride is also available - 50rmb/person return ticket or 35rmb/person one-way). Entrance fee to the mountain is 67rmb/person. There are two main roads that lead to the top, the right entrance leads to the hotel from where you can hike up to the top for few minutes. The left entrance will lead to the 800 "steep" steps, followed by a long paved way and then more steps again (total number of steps exceeds 1800 with casual rest areas, temples or toilets for a break). A vegetarian restaurant is located near the playground, where you can find various activities (mountain coaster, treetop trekking, zip-line, etc..). The main temple could be found a little further above. From there, a short walk would lead to bottom of the two rocky peaks that represent the symbol of the Doutuan mountain. The mist that curled around the famous Guangwu mountains only served to heighten their majestic formations. Every now and again we would get a peep at the lush green slopes and then they were gone in a white haze of wu.(mist) The air was thin and we were tired with the uphill walking but it was so worthwhile. An incredible experience at 7500 feet up! However, it had been a long drive from the village to the car park (over one hour) and the small shop there sold only Chinese vacuum packed snacks.The toilets were revolting so go prepared! 这座寺庙历史悠久，据说大门上的匾额还是哪个皇帝的题字，寺庙坐落于山中，非常幽静，分为上古寺和下古寺，晨钟暮鼓，如果你厌倦了城市里的喧嚣，那么到这座古寺去游览一番，也是一种静心的旅行吧，非常舒适。

到达葛仙山镇下面的一个叫做万年场得乡村。当天赶场。街上人挺多的。结果到下午的时候我们回来。就一个人也没有了。看到老乡卖的桃子非常的好吃。心想回来买。结果下午回来什么也没有了。

La via sacra con grandi statue di animali non è il massimo. L'anfiteatro Open air music hall è bello, ma forse si apprezza meglio quando vi sono rappresentazioni. Il giardino giapponese non è niente male anche se la fioritura era già terminata. Bella la Meiling Palace, ancora arredata come lo era al tempo in cui era abitata. (All'interno un bel bar che fa spettacolari cappuccini serviti nella sala da pranzo della dimora). il tempio è visitabile solo dall'esterno. Batai Mountain is stunning. Perfect for photo enthusiasts, the views are stunning. The landscape is practically untouched, which is a rare find in China The glass Bridge and glass walkways are definitely the highlight of the trip. There seems to be only one hotel at the foot of the mountain/scenic area (Mingyue Bashan Hotel) and it's very decent, comfortable and clean. You'll need to get to Wanyuan by train first, and then find transport to the scenic area (bus, or taxi or even Didi if you can find a driver who is willing to take the trip). If your Chinese isn't very good, make sure you have a good translator app to help you in Wanyuan. The locals are really very helpful and there is a bus station right outside the train station. The scenic area at Batai itself has so many adventure options available! Hot air balloons, ziplines, slides, walkways, mountain climbing and even a roller coaster at the summit. Getting to the summit is easy with the bus transport available. I suggest to start at the summit and work your way down through all the adventures. The ticketing office staff are super helpful and you can plan your day out easily. Absolutely worth visiting, and perfect for a 3 day getaway. If you're in Sichuan ... This is one of the most beautiful sites it has to offer. See more..

One of my Chinese friend took me here, you can see this tower from anywhere in the city. That's why I really wanted to visit here, taxi dropped us to the road where the climbing Starts for this tower. Climbing is not steep, if you have your own vehicle then you can go little up because road is very well maintained, public transport can't go up, so we decided to go by walk. It took us around 20 minutes to reach the tower, after reaching the tower the scenery was wow, because you can see almost all the city view. And the junction of two rivers. While climbing up you can visit a big temple of Buddha also. Highly recommended for visitors of Yibin. Thanks. See more..

Travelled to Pengshan from Chengdu from Qinanmen Station. The journey cost around 22 RMB. But o arrival in Pengshan we had to pay a cab driver 40 RMB to take us to Pengshan mountain. Tickets to get entrance to the mountain were 40 RMB. It was raining torrents so the run-off was cascading down the sandstone steps. PengZu can be walked around in 2-3 hours. There are plenty of interesting things to see, including a rather exotic ying and yang temple (but don't take your kids in there!) two giant red sandstone Buddhas, the fairy maiden statue at the summit as well as another temple complex. The two Buddhas were carved into the cliff-side around 718AD and are the 7th and 8th largest in the world at 28 metres and 24 metres each. The mounain was where the Chinese Methusaleh PengZu lived. Legend has it that he lived 800 years. The region is noted for an unusual number of centenarians. There are also teahouses and eating options on the mountain. When we exited we could not figure out how to get back to Pengshan. There were no taxis and these mini buses kept passing us (they turned out to be the public transport - but I did not know where the pickup point was). We walked for 3km along the Minjiang river before a couple we met on the mountain gave us a lift back to the bus station. All in all it was a great adventure, but you need to brace yourself for some hassle factor in getting around. See more..

阴灵山的风景有独到之处。太高了、怪石嶙峋，参天古树数不过来。干净，漂亮。就睡路不好。全部是烂的。门票太便宜了、就10元钱上去就没有什么收费的了。庙宇很多很好看。庙宇去的赶快去看看。听说那里的菩萨很灵的，可以许愿的。还有就是在僧人那里可以抽签看未来。我试了。说一年的事都是真的。 See more..
