Go early we arrived at 7:10am, start queuing until 7:30am when the gates open, foreigners need their passport, foreigners buy the ticket onsite just outside the gate (queue first) once in take the golf kart to the first stop 10(rmb) To see the pandas outside temp needs to be below 20° so try and choose a colder day if possible. The baby pandas are viable at 10:30am there was only one on the day we are there, born 1.5 months ago, in my opinion not worth waiting. On the day we went there are lot of pandas to be seen out eating, moving slowly and sleeping. I recommend it, allow 2-3 hours See more..

This area is reached by walking between the upper bus station and the cable car on Emei Mountain. The walk is about 2km and contains a lot of steps. The steps when covered with snow can be quite hazardous so I recommend buying temporary grips for your shoes. The monkeys live wild on this Buddhist mountain and are very used to visitors, so beware as they will help themselves to anything. Nice to get up close though. See more..

Visited this place in June 2016 with my friends. From Yibin it took around 2 hours by car, entry ticket for foreigners is 112 RMB. Emerald Bamboo Gallery, clouds watching pavilion spots are the great things to see. After entering bamboo sea forest we visited giant Buddha statue and temple. The way to that temple is very mesmerizing, view of the whole scenery is very beautiful, it's like heaven. In between there's a lake where you can do boating. Overall experience is very good though is very tiresome to visit places here because it's very big and you have to walk. Highly recommended for hikers. And nature lovers. So its a bit if a journey to get here, but as the newer baby brother of the Chengdu park it is well worth the effort. An easy stroll for all ages up the valley, frequent rest points and all the grounds are well managed. Pandas look happy and well looked after. The red pandas have a huge area to run free in. Visitors can walk through but if you are not so steady on your pins beware the path is super uneven. Top of the valley is a recently restored Qing dynasty temple. Half way up is a good coffee shop. Only 55¥ to enjoy, not over commercialized, the gifty shops are outside. See more..

It took 6 hours by bus to reach Siguniangshan from Chádiànzi long distance bus station in Chengdu. The journey there was very enjoyable as it goes over a 4200 metre mountain pass with fantastic views. Siguniangshan has three main valleys all within easy reach from Siguniangshan town. (Formerly Rilong) The Changping Valley starts from the town. The Haizi Valley is just 500 metres away. 7 kilometres down the road is the Shuangqiao Valley. I did two of the valleys with my family. Saw huge mountains, ice waterfalls, yaks, pine forest and so on. Be sure to take altitude medicine and drink plenty of water as it is quite dry up there. We had medicine and were good until we ran out on the final night and got a massive headache. Also beware of the swindlers who try to take you to your hotel when the bus drops you off. They wanted 100 Yuan for what turned out to be a 500 metre walk to the hotel. The town is small enough to get to most hotels by foot. See more..

This is a truly incredible spot, and you realize that when you get at the top after a 2-kilometer cable car ride. The vast glacier of the Gongga Mountains can be seen in all its glory from great view platform. It's a spectacular view at around 3,500-meter altitude. To get there you have to reach the small getaway town of Moxi which has hotels and the park entrance (where the staff is very helpful by the way. You can get a hotel right next. you need a good half-day to do the trip if you do not intend to do any hike or spend hours at the spa. Anyway, the park is well organized (transport) and very scenic. For photography the glacier is exceptional and depending on the season it can be truly grandiose! I was there is April, and the top is covered in snow and temps is close to freezing. On the day I visit, there was a sizable storm in the mountain and we could hear the glacier squeaking! See more..

Though smaller than the more famous Jiuzhaigou, Munigou's exquisite beauty nowhere pales in comparison! In fact, I enjoyed Munigou more than JZG since there was no crowd. The smaller size made it more walkable for the average traveller. My friend and I hired a driver for the day. This allowed us to take all the time we liked in Munigou and Erdaohai (another very worth visiting site). The Zhaga waterfall in Munigou is apparently one of the top 10 waterfalls in China! The well maintained path through the forest takes you to the top of the waterfall, which is at an altitude of more than 3000 feet above sea level. A sight to behold! If you have to choose between Huanglong and Munigou, go the latter! See more..

I was in Ruoergai in August 2017, the best season of visiting prairie. We had a self-drive tour from Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to Aba and Qiang Prefecture. It is well known as an Emerald inlays on the plateau of northwest Sichuan Province. The views were so extremely pure and peaceful. Mostly are glacier topped mountains, wetlands, blue sky with clouds, herds of sheep, cattle and birds. There are Tibetan villages with fluttering prayer flags, yurt with horses, winding rivers and lakes cross the grass. It is hard for me to leave, I strongly recommend this great area who wants to see wild scenery and look at the less visited part of China. It is definitely worth visiting. See more..

We added a visit to the Research Center at then end of a trip to the Himalayas since we had to flu back to China anyway. It was so worth it. I don't like to see animals in zoos normally but these pandas are well looked after and their accommodations are like a Panda Ritz Carlton. The park is much bigger than I thought but there is a bus that runs through it that you can jump on a off from (you have to purchase a separate ticket for that). But if you are fit you can certainly walk the whole park on very comfortable paved walk ways. Read the map well, it can get a bit confusing. But seeing so many Panda's in one place is a once in a lifetime experience, plus seeing all the babies in the nursery was just amazing. 银厂沟是成都后花园里的避暑胜地，每年夏天从沟外的白水河一直到深山里大大小小的农家乐全都是前往避暑度假的老人和房价的学生。里面的消费也不贵，有的一住就是个把月。
作为地质公园的龙门山，在河流小溪旁能轻易的拾到植物化石，运气好的话能够翻找出动物的化石。沟里有熊、猕猴、蛇、青蛙，总之野生动物相当丰富。沟里的水也是冰凉清澈，我们常常把饮料和瓜果放进水里冰镇。
08年地震后，银厂沟许多很出彩的景点都消失了。比如大龙潭，还有延伸进去的栈道——因为峡谷两座山已经合拢成为一个山体了，唯一还能辨认的就是从山间渗出的河水。最近一次去是去年的春天，沟内因为地震导致的持续泥石流使得很多农家乐宾馆整个建筑都发生了移位和翻转。整个河床至少抬高了20米！泥石流甚至淹没了沿途大小不等凉亭商铺，看上去曾经无比热闹非凡的旅游胜地已俨然是令人毛骨悚然的自然灾害遗址。
因龙门山处于地质活跃地带，不建议夏天雨季前往，山体滑坡泥石流随时都可能发生。进沟是要签署政府免责声明的。 See more..

Been here twice, first time for jogging and second time to visit Cuiping mountain tower. It's very attractive place to visit because of nature, after reaching up you can see all view of Yibin city. The taxi journey from Chengdu to Bamboo Forest is 4.5 hours. We arrived after noon and travelled to various spots in a taxi. The forest is huge so it's not possible to do this on foot. The mist that curled around the famous Guangwu mountains only served to heighten their majestic formations. Every now and again we would get a peep at the lush green slopes and then they were gone in a white haze of wu.(mist) The air was thin and we were tired with the uphill walking but it was so worthwhile. An incredible experience at 7500 feet up! However, it had been a long drive from the village to the car park (over one hour) and the small shop there sold only Chinese vacuum packed snacks.The toilets were revolting so go prepared! 就感觉树比较多，空气不错
名头很响的样子，貌似还是个国家级的森林公园。
环境是不错，树很多，然后就是各种娱乐场所。其他就没有什么了

如果你喜欢登山，却困在朝九晚五加双休的短假里，如果你对商业化的景区感到厌倦，不想再干“上车睡觉，下车拍照”“到此一游”的蠢事，那么你可以考虑加入背包户外的行列了，九峰山是很多成都驴友的初恋，成为一种九峰情结。
它近在成都百里之内，周末2天就可以完成。地震后，大部分道路被毁，需要一定体力和耐力。登山道路是沿着山谷蜿蜒上升，沿途有驴友作的路标，有四五处扎营地，有水源。
今年9月去，还意外看到了野生老鼠，肚皮泛白，全身灰白，尾巴奇长，不怕人，也不怕猫。
九峰和峨眉的区别是，峨眉沿途皆有风景，九峰的路程，却是前9段都是辛苦的攀爬，最后登顶才迎来绚丽的云海日出，越是艰辛越是美丽。
