We took our car on the morning ferry($55) from Split and drove 37 km over the island to Bol and down to this popular beach. It was quiet with free access in the off season especially with today’s light rain. We walked the overlook to view the nudist beach and the beautiful 400 m “Tongue of the Golden Gate” which from this distance could be delightful sand but in reality is made up of small pebbles. Nice stone church from 1720 with cats in control and an odd bronze monument of a basket carrying donkey.See more..
4.0Zrce Beach(797 reviews) - You need to know what place you are going to, if you have decided to go to Zrće Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
You need to know what place you are going to, if you have decided to go to Zrće - yes, there is a bunch of young people, drunk and drugged, drinks are quite expensive and unnecessary aggression often occurs. But there you can find the world’s best DJs and enjoy phenomenal music. I had a great time and it was a wonderful experience.See more..
4.5Punta Rata Beach(577 reviews) - Gorgeous Thursday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Beaches
The beach here is pebbled so take some beach shoes or buy some on the promenade. Once in the water, it's beautiful and clear, fish all around and really really clean too. The beach areas aren't huge so can get busy later but there's still room. We went twice and on the second time got a couple of beds and brolly which cost 70 kuna (absolute peanuts). We also hired a paddleboard for the day which was 500 kuna but split between several families it's good value. There's places to eat along the water, especially if you head south where there's a lot more restaurants. Parking is a challenge. You drive through the hotel car parks to unmarked areas and becomes a free for all. It states 20 kuna an hour but you'll find you can do a deal for 100 kuna for the day. See more..
4.5Dubovica Beach(525 reviews) - Best beach near Stari Grad Beaches
Probably the best beach near Stari Grad, you can reach it by car or bike whithin 10 minutes. You have to park on the road and then walk downhill on a pathway with a beautiful view on the sea. As most of the beaches in Hvar there is no sand but pebbles. The beach itself is quiet, with a small bar and restaurant and a pine forest behind. Beautiful experience, highly recommendedSee more..
This local favorite isn’t as well-known as Banje Beach, but offers the same splendid views. Tucked in a hidden bay to the east of Dubrovnik Old Town, Sveti Jakov (St. Jacob) Beach is surrounded by majestic cliffs and turquoise waters. The beach is covered with fine pebbles, so water shoes are recommended. A cozy beach bar and restaurant will sate any hunger pangs, and there are also sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent. After a day of snorkeling, diving, or sunbathing, climb a steep staircase to reach the historic Church of St. Jacob, after which the beach is named. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.0Kasuni Beach(391 reviews) - Great beach close to Split Beaches
This quiet beach on the Marjan Peninsula is just a short bus ride from Split's Old Town and a quieter alternative to the popular Bacvice Beach. The crescent-shaped cove is surrounded by the tree-covered cliffs of Marjan Hill and the turquoise waters are clean and clear. Rent a sun lounger by the beach bar and admire the views, or simply lay out a beach towel on the pebbly beach. The shore has some rocky areas and sea urchins, so footwear is recommended. While you're in the area, you can check out the historic side of the peninsula and the walking trails of Marjan Hill on a day trip. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.5Brela Beach(362 reviews) - What a spectacular and beautiful coastline Beaches
What a beautiful stretch of coastline!!! We visited Brela in September and were fortunate to have great clear weather during our 2 day stay. There is a coastline pedestrian only walkway running south from Carevici to just south of Brela. The views are stunning. Crystal clear waters with colours ranging from vivid greens through to deep marine blues. I've rarely seen clearer and more spectacular coastlines. There are numerous restaurants and bars along the way all offering refreshments at reasonable prices. Well worth a detour if you are visiting this part of the Dalmatian riviera.See more..
3.5Sakarun Beach(340 reviews) - Pleasant stay Beaches
Nicknamed the 'Caribbean of the Adriatic', this square shaped bay with a picturesque white pebble beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Zadar island archipelago. Its vibrant blue waters are shallow and gentle, perfect for a leisurely soak and families with children. Nearby attractions worth seeing include the Veli Rat lighthouse and you can also snorkeling around the remains of a sunken ship. Located on the northwestern tip of Dugi Otok island, boat tours are the best way to access this remote beach—there are no hotels directly on the beach. Alternatively, hop on a ferry and tourist train to get here. – TripadvisorSee more..
4.5Mlini Beach(265 reviews) - Crystal blue sea and natutal shade Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
Beautiful beach that has it all.. sunny area, shade from pine trees, nice sea entrance, sunbeds, baldahins and a restaurant, but most of all, crystal blue sea. Its part pebble and part rocks. It was not to crowded and quite relaxed, peaceful. Good for couples or families with kids. So far the best relaxation on Hvar beaches.See more..

4.5Simuni Beach(187 reviews) - Beach Bar Providenca, the campsite and the free beaches Beaches
Beaches are very nice and relaxing. You can choose among free beaches and the camping. All of them are very interesting. If you go to the campsite, then you can have free sunbeds and free beach umbrellas, by paying the entrance (80 kunas). They are very comfortable. The beach bar Providenca, just nearby, on the Simuni beach, is the perfect spot for a break, a dinner, a lunch.See more..
4.5Velika Raduća Beach(175 reviews) - Just great beach to take the rest on ! Spent 2-3 hours Beaches
In the summer 2004 year, as I said in my previous review about Trogir City, we spent our vacation in the gorgeous dalmatian little town, Primosten near the Sibenik to the north. We particularly loved the very nice,Velika Raduca Beach. Here in Primosten, wherever You go, there are some cute,small-pebbled beaches, ideal to be on, either for bathing, swimming, diving or taking the sun. This beach is located on the isle of Raduc and is one of the oldest and most popular beaches of Croatia. No wonder that Primosten is also called, "the beach city", since the total length of the beaches is 20 km. If You come here in this region of Croatian sea coast, that is, between the Sibenik and Split, do not miss this very pleasant place. As to the beach, it is very well equipped, with showers, toilets, changing cubicles, trampolines for children, chaise lounges, umbrellas and catamarans.See more..
4.5Podvrske Beach(123 reviews) - Nicest beach on Murter Beaches
LIKE:Clear water with sandy bottom, view on Kornati, little stones beach. DISLIKE:If you came too late you must wait for free space. Better to came before main season or later otherwise too much people. See more..
4.5Cigrada Beach(69 reviews) - Sheltered pool, beach, rocks and small port. Beaches
We took a 20 km tour of the island highlights that included this beach. No charge to park in the off season with the restaurants closed and no one around. It's easy to see the wide appeal of this spot with the calm pool to swim, the nice beach to lay out, the rugged low rocks for the youth to climb about and even a small port. Today it was sheltered from the high winds from the southeast experienced in Tisno.See more..
