Uno de los mas desconocidos cargaderos de mineral de Cantabria, a pesar de su estado de abandono es un gran ejemplo de patrimonio industrial. Lo construyó la Real Compañía Asturiana de Minas en 1924 para la exportación del mineral de las minas de Reocin, estuvo en funcionamiento hasta 1985. En el antiguo Muelle de Hinojedo podían atracar barcos de hasta 1500 toneladas. En su entorno hay una vía verde para dar un agradable paseo.
