The lighthouse has been here since 1839 and after the lighthouse operations were automated, the formerly living areas were converted into an arts centre where there’s plenty of nautical themed exhibits. Fuimos con niños , un poco difícil ya que el pequeño tiene 5 años .Pero el lugar es impresionante .Hay un aparcamiento bien grande para dejar el coche .Si vaís a mano derecha esta la cueva si cogéis la mano izquierda vamos al faro de ajo .El camino al faro por algunos tramos es estrecho y vas muy cerca del acantilado hay que tener cuidado si vas con niños .See more..

Uno de los enclaves naturales más hermosos del Oriente de Cantabria. Su silueta en la lejanía recuerda un cetáceo en el mar, para pasar al Cabo Cebollero es recomendable ir con bajamar. Antes de llegar a la playa de Sonabia o durante tu estancia playera puedes pasarte por punta ballena un lugar que parece Marte, un sitio tranquilo con el sonido del mar a uno y otro lado, un paseo difícil y arriesgado en algunos puntos e increíble en otros.
