   We did plan renting a boat on locatieontwikkelaar Vinkeveen. We were waiting for an hour in the reception. It was very hot there and just one German girl to help for the long row. When it was our turn she told us the system was down. We asked her to send us an email, but since we were no clients yet, she did not want to do so. Waiting in the row we heard that there were many complaints about the boat people did rent. We decided that we would not want to rent a boat by leboat.    A monument to honour those who fell as a result of Nazi war violence in the period 1940 - 1945 and thereafter during the bloody colonial war in Indonesia. Two men are depicted: one is lying, while the other is standing with a torch (handed over by the fallen man). The monument was erected in 1951, a time when the Dutch ruling class successfully incorporated the soldiers, who died during their war against the Indonesian people, into the national commemoration celebrations.
