We had such a great time here. We watched 2 movies and they started around 9:15 and we finished around 12:30 pm. The only thing to be aware of is MapQuest directions send you into a neighborhood and doesn’t take you to the theater. If you are unfamiliar with the area call ahead and get directions so you don’t end up lost in the dark. See more..

Have been there three times now and the results are the same. Service is great. Three choices of entrees (beef, Chicken, and fish) with sides, salad, soup, and desert. Quality is very good considering the mass serving. The plays are good considering the amateur talent. All personnel are volunteer. Tickets are hard to get so plan ahead. See more..

  15. 4.0 Grand Opera House (1 review)
    - Great Jewel off I29
    Theaters
I attended a concert of a husband/wife singing group in this revitalized old theater in Dell Rapids. The seating was new and comfy in the back of the auditorium. Up front had older wooden seats that did not look all that comfortable. The performance included a dinner for $8 pp. I would encourage the venue to update their catering as it was marginal at best and I should have eaten elsewhere. A glass of wine made the tasteless pasta acceptable and the company of friends was most important. The term "opera house" is somewhat on target as the charm of this building resembled a small French opera house- more than one in a farm community. See more..
