Had a fabulous time with Daniel and XO Adventures. A fun filled day with our group of 8. With Daniel doing all of the driving we ALL got to experience the beauty of the area. Daniel’s knowledge of Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park added to our experience. Saw buffalo, donkeys, prairie dogs, prong-horned antelope. Loved the Iron Mountain drive. Those incredible tunnels framing Mt Rushmore were spectacular. Daniel set up a tasty lunch including brownies and ice cream. A day we’ll always remember. Thank you Daniel. See more..

My tour with Tianna and Guss Yellowhair was truly amazing. They give voice to the history of their people and bring it alive in a way that far exceeds anything you can read in a book or see in a movie. I was deeply moved by their stories and by their own commitment to the betterment of their people. Highly recommend taking their tour when you are in the Black Hills/Badlands area. See more..

My wife and I stopped in to look at the visitors center not knowing they operate a trolley tour of the town and the Sanford Labs out of the visitors center. The price is reasonable and they offer tours 3 times a day. The tour starts out with a guided tour of the visitors center and the open pit mine. Then you get a tour of the city along with the history. It finishes up by actually being able to go up to the Homestake Mine and see the equipment and buildings they use to process the ore and to bring the men up and down in the mine.
