Breathtaking!

Breathtaking!
Huge park. Need to take the bus from one venue to another. If the weather is good, you may hop on the bus however many times you like. Unfortunately for us, we only had good weather in the morning and it started raining in the afternoon. Still, we managed to visit a few beautiful venues, thank goodness.

Splendid scenic views!
This park is the main reason why you come to visit Juizhaiguo and you’ll be glad you did! It’s stunning beautiful from start to finish. Even if it is such a big park, the bus system is very well organized to make sure you get to see all the beautiful scenic spots in the park. Upon entering the park, a bus brings you to a lake at an altitude of about 3200 meters. From there, you start your walk downwards on easy walking and paved paths. At the end of your first scenic lake, you take the bus to the next one and so on. The bus allows you to sit down and to heat up a bit, because it’s cold (but sunny) out there. Luckily, we didn’t experience any blowing wind in our face during our visit, so the cold was bearable, but do wear double socks & pants if you plan to visit the park in Wintertime. The advance of visiting the park in Wintertime is that part of the waterfalls are frozen and that gives a special effect. At the end of your park visit, you’ll also have the chance to visit an active Tibetan temple. During our visit, a lama was present at the temple to perform a wedding ceremony for a local couple and that was a great experience to see. Feel free to enter the temple all the way to the 4th floor and admire its wall decorations and Tibetan art sculptures. Take the time to take plenty of pictures (except within the Tibetan temple) as you won’t easily find another park in China that offers such beauty! Upon exiting the park, the bus drops you at a local food market where you can taste some delicious street food.
