Words cannot describe this place and you have to see it for yourself. It is the "Number One" mountain and one of the holiest. Be careful of strong winds near the summit as it can blow you off your feet.See more..
This is well worth a visit. This national park has a large forested area with trees dating from the 1950s. You can rent bikes and toodle around the many paths and roads in the park. The best stretch of beach is about 400-500 metres north from the amusement area. You'll be almost alone, a rarity in China. There were a small number of people camping on the beach in small tents. It looked like tents were available to rent too. The waves were really impressive. I'm not a surfer, but they looked very surfable to me. Might not be the safest swimming beach. Possibly a strong undertow, but not 100% sure.See more..

4.0Yuanshan National Forest Park(19 reviews) - A huge park and a great day trip Monday: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM National Parks
This park is located in Zibo, but not in the same district as the train station. You'll need to take a bus or taxi to the Boshan district. I highly recommend going to Boshan as it's plentiful in it's supply of mountains and scenery (especially in comparison to the other districts). If you like walking then the Yuanshan National Forest Park is for you. It does cost money, but you'll end up spending a lot of time there. You can see some old restored Great Wall bits along with some other interesting things. In the summer it can be quite hot so don't forget to drink lots of water and perhaps wear some sun screen!See more..
4.5Zibo Lushan National Forest Park(14 reviews) - The most natural and untouched national park I have been to in China. Monday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM National Parks
Three friends and I spent a couple of days in the forest park and the surrounding area. We enjoyed seeing a huge variety of different flora and fauna. It is a decent distance from any major urban centers and as a result is largely untouched and a little wild. A car would be needed to make the most of your time though. Lots of excellent 'nongjiale' in the area to stay at too. A lovely get rural get away for the more adventurous traveler.See more..

4.0Weihe Park(4 reviews) - Nice lake-side development Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Bodies of Water • National Parks
It looks like the city of Zhucheng has put in a lot of resources to develop public areas to improve the city's appearance, including paved paths, wharfs, sculptures, trees, shrubs and plants. This park is one of those developments. Here you can find expansive areas where people fly kites or just sit and chat. I saw a portable amusement park set-up with kids' rides available and the obligatory blaring techno music to go along with it. You can hire a pedal or motor boat to navigate the lake in. There are a couple of large sculptures there. At night we drove past and there were a lot of stalls along the roadside as well, probably selling food and token items.See more..
