4.0Daming Lake(632 reviews) - Huge! Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Bodies of Water • Historic Walking Areas • Parks
This has to be the must-visit place when in Jinan. We only spent a couple of hours walking around the lake and just covered about half of this whole place. Absolutely beautiful all around! Seemed like this lake area took up half of the old city surrounded by the moat.See more..
4.5Beijiushui River Laoshan(205 reviews) - Multiple Waterfalls with a Great Hike Bodies of Water
The Beijiushui River is also labeled "Laoshan Beijiushui (West Gate) on some maps. This is one of the northern park entrances to the beautiful Loashan Mountain park. A ride from downtown Qingdao will take about 40 minutes. Tickets are bought at the entrance, then buses will take you about 1-2 km into the park to the beginning of the trails. The trails are extremely well built with either wood or chiseled rock. Many sellers will greet you around the entrance, but past them you will find a great view of the river valley full of large sun-washed boulders and rushing water. There remains some garbage on the trail as locals still need to learn to manage their own trash. The hike will take 3-4 hours to enjoy the various water pools at various levels. the Lion Waterfall is a must see. The hike up can be quite tiring due to the many steps, but well worth the hike.See more..

4.0Dongchang Lake(21 reviews) - Peaceful Saturday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Bodies of Water
Quiet for most part. Not enough snack places. Can get busses nearby. Maybe bad for a rainy day. As in all of China, lots of construction going on. Fairly clean for the most part. Stay hydrated. Might be fun for family to take a boat ride. Some locals brought clothing and window screens to wash in the lake. And some were filling 50 gallon drums full of lake water. I'm hoping for a fish tank. 3.5Dongying Tian'e Lake(17 reviews) - excellent if you're into post-apocalyptic scenery Saturday: 6:57 AM - 6:57 PM Bodies of Water
Really cool and interesting but in it's prime about 8 years ago. The lake was dried up when we visited, there were no swans to be seen, and the little zoo there was one of the saddest things I've seen. At leas the monkeys seemed to be having a good time. The pretend temple made for some interesting photos and it was a bizarre but intriguing day out.See more..
4.0Weishan Lake(14 reviews) - Off the beaten path, but worth a visit. Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Bodies of Water
Definitely worth visiting for the Lotus flower season. The local lake food is terrific and cooked still moving. I visited Weishan in July 2013. During my three day visit I saw no foreigners at all. I even managed to have a tour bus stop and take pictures of me. During my visit they were adding a few attractions to pull in more tourists, and the people were much more friendly than most Chinese. If you're more adventurous and have the time to make it over. The lotus blossoms, historical sites, and food are worth the effort.See more..
4.0Qing Feng Lake(7 reviews) - Decent little park. Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Bodies of Water • Parks
A well kept park of all the areas of dongying. Nice for a stroll round & you can hire some 2 seater pedal cars to whizz around on as well. There's also a speedboat that you can pay ¥80-100 to get taken out on. Visit...purely because there ain't much else in Dongying!See more..

4.0Weihe Park(4 reviews) - Nice lake-side development Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Bodies of Water • National Parks
It looks like the city of Zhucheng has put in a lot of resources to develop public areas to improve the city's appearance, including paved paths, wharfs, sculptures, trees, shrubs and plants. This park is one of those developments. Here you can find expansive areas where people fly kites or just sit and chat. I saw a portable amusement park set-up with kids' rides available and the obligatory blaring techno music to go along with it. You can hire a pedal or motor boat to navigate the lake in. There are a couple of large sculptures there. At night we drove past and there were a lot of stalls along the roadside as well, probably selling food and token items.See more..

See more..

3.0Anqiu Qingyun Lake(1 review) - 挺大的一个湖。 Saturday: 7:55 AM - 6:00 PM Bodies of Water See more..
