4e Winery is a boutique North Dakota business that crafts high-quality wines from northern prairie ingredients. They pride themselves on getting back to the basic elements of wine making to let the fruit express what it wants to be. They offer a selection of artisan wines made from local grapes, as well as a line of fruit wines that are sure to please the palate. Find them on a century old farmstead, part of the original bonanza farms, just south of Casselton. If you are looking for an excellent adventure in all things Mead, this is the place to go. Mead is honey wine, and it is delicious. When we went, we sampled almost every one that they had in the place. Lots of delicious fruit combinations. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He did not skimp on the pour so you really got to taste the various meads that they had that day. Brought lots home to share with friends and family. A great place to go and learn about mead and taste it. I was well worth the afternoon and would be well worth going to! See more..

This is a great place to enjoy a few hours of country air, beautiful gardens, and wine made from fruit other than grapes. It is an award winning winery!! We called ahead and order a cheese, meat, and cracker platter to enjoy with our tasting. Both the platter and the wine exceeded our expectations. The owners work everyday to make great wines, introduce people to wines made using fruits other than grapes. We tasted 17 different wines and found each one to provide a great taste. We bought a case of several of their wine. They currently have 29 and are planning on adding additional flavor this fall. The gardens, metal sculptures, and various water features are worth the visit. The tasting room is cozy and comfortable. When you need to get away from the the everyday grind...head to Dakota Sun Winery! See more..
  5. 5.0 Pointe of View Winery (5 reviews)
    - A Glass of Wine or Two
    Wineries & Vineyards
The Pointe of View Winery is not the world's largest; in fact it probably ranks as one of the smallest. But, as the old saying goes: Good things come in small packages. Our group had a great afternoon listening to the owner explain the operation before sampling his product. And - the samples were great. Most everyone in the group bought wine to take home, in my case home was about 1500 miles. Its well worth the trip if you visit North Dakota. See more..

    - wine sucks
    Wineries & Vineyards
I would not recommend this wine. It is overpriced and flat. It has no body. If you like wine, pick a different one. Steve Simpson See more..

Dakota Vines Vineyard And Winery image
Dakota Vines is a fabulous winery located just a short drive south of Fargo. Located on a beautiful site, overlooking the river and surrounded by trees, a visit to Dakota Vines will yield amazing wine served by equally amazing folks. Owners, Deb and Bob Grosz have built a welcoming space that has quickly become a favorite of locals and travelers alike. I recommend a glass (or two) of Roughrider enjoyed on the Eagles Nest right as the sun begins to go down. It's the best. See more..
