The Veteran's Memorial Bridge on Main Avenue is nice with majestic columns and flags representing the U.S, Minnesota and North Dakota. Plaques to honor all branches of the military. The bridge connects Fargo and Moorhead. Pros Four lanes plus walking area. A nice place to photograph especially as the sun sets. Cons Fargo is adding a roundabout on their side of the bridge. Fantastic! I thought the photos made it look amazing and very long, but to stand there and see it in person is just excellent. The bridge is huge! I was excited just to see it, and then thought I heard a train in the distance, which would have been the ultimate experience, but it never did arrive and we had to be on our way. So worth pulling off the highway to see this bridge for yourself. It's quite something. Nice park too! See more..
