A rainy afternoon in Medora led us to buy tickets for the 1:30 p.m. show. What a treat! Hats off to Joe Wiegand for his portrayal of Teddy Roosevelt - engaging, witty and entertaining. We were a part of an audience of 50 including about ten children. The children were attentive and seemed to enjoy the show, too. I would highly recommend this show as a part of your Medora/Teddy Roosevelt National Park experience.See more..

Grand Theatre in Oakes has weekend movies and occasionally shows them on Monday night. Recently went to "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." The Grand has the new digital system with surround sound that was clear! Seems to be a nice local independent theatre with fresh popcorn and REAL butter! Theatre was clean with comfortable seats and there was no line. Just down the street is the Angry Beaver Lodge which was nice for a nightcap and review of the movie with friends.See more..
