I realise after visiting a few more attractions in Nanjing that gift shops in Yuhuatai are cheapest. You can easily get stone pendants for rmb10. We went to Laomen East Pedestrian Street to find a burger place that we found online and when we arrived found that the area is great. It is filled with shops, cafes, restaurants, art and artists, scenic beauty, historic buildings, and is huge. Laomen will require one to spend almost an entire day walking up and down the alleys and streets or several visits. There are plenty of places to eat while there and at least three western restaurants. Getting to the walking street is easy by car or Nanjing Metro. Take Line 3 to Wudingmen Station and go out exit 2. Go right on Madao Street for about 900 meters. Relax, walk, step into and out of shops, have a cup of coffee or tea followed by a meal and have a good day.See more..

Transportation is convenient. You can even take a bus from Yangzhou downtown to the park, or take a bus to Yangzhou from there. This is a number one place to visit. It was a relaxing place. A good run away from all those tombs that we were brought by our guides. Open air spaces mixed a rather big museum does suggest an interesting story. Is it worth your time? Should you happen to be here do enter. This area was used to film two very popular Chinese television programs, 'Water Margin,' and 'Three Kingdoms.' Because of this, it feels like you're walking through a studio set, which is rather interesting. There are trams which take guests on short tours, but walking is easy, too. In my memory, it was a really beautiful place. Rural and peaceful. It is where to see the sunrise perfectly. Yuan Tuo Jiao is the closest place of enjoying the sun rise up from the sea. However, this year when I came back, everything looked different. All those granite roads were gone. All those wooden pavilions were gone. There were I heard the government is building something new.
